I have been seeing psychiatrists since I was 16 years old for depression and anxiety. Dr. Kingsley doesn't just write prescriptions - she actually communicates with you and lets you decide what you want to do. I told her, when I first started with her, that I am very sensitive to different medications, and she starts me out on the lowest dose when we are trying something new and titrates upward. I never feel like I'm being forced to try a med or leave feeling confused after an appointment. She genuinely cares about how you are doing. Sometimes, she is running late because she has to see a patient longer to help them, but I think it is worth it because of the quality of the appointment. I would definitely recommend her (and have several times).
