Dr. Annemarie Brescia, MD

I discovered that I had Lupus and needed a rheumatologist quick. I’m 2004 I went to AI children’s hospital where Dr. Brescia was working under another doctor. He retired and she became my doctor. I was seeing doctor Brescia ever since 2004 until I was 21 2014 i was so sad i had to leave her she took the best care of me when i was there.

We first visited A.I Dupont Rheumatology in 2013 with our son. We brought him in without knowing what was wrong with him. We met with Dr. Brescia and she ran a series of test until she absolutely diagnosed my son. Her treatment plan was right on target. My son has been her patient for a few years now. Dr. Brescia is very thorough, knowledgeable, professional, patient and very kind. Her bedside manners are excellent. She has so much knowledge of my son's illness. She always responds to calls.

As a highly trained and specialized doctor, Dr. Brescia has conducted my child's treatment very personably yet very thoroughly and has gone the extra mile many a time whether it be to call after hours to check on my child after treatments or to reply via email to answer any frantic questions. She is insanely well versed in her department and is often pulled for research. We're thankful to have her as my child's doctor.
