Dr. Annette Rhodes, MD

She examined my eyes for less than 30 seconds and told me that I had dry eyes. I asked why and she told me this was related to age. She just handed me 2 pieces of paper for the eye drops I should use and reaffirmed that she could not check my vision after asking again. She told me I had to make another appointment even though I was sitting right there in front of her. Dr. Rhodes did not explain what type of eye drops were best for my situation. If my dry eyes are related to aging, perhaps there are some drops better than others in regards to this. However, I was left with 2 pieces of paper with several types of eye drops and confusing information. The total visit with Dr. Rhodes was 3 minutes. Dr. Rhodes did not even take a history from me to see other causes of my dry eyes. I came from this appointment disappointed and felt like Dr. Rhodes did not have the time. Otherwise, you're better off saving your time and money and just getting recommendations from the pharmacy.

Lacked personality. Seemed bored from the moment she walked in the room. Not communicative. I wasn’t even sure when the exam was completed. Very strange experience and I will happily wait months to see a doctor who at least pretends to care.

I saw her once and will never see her again. She was rude, brisk, dismissive. She hardly made eye contact. Had to wait a long time to be seen as well. She was rough when checking my eyes and the assistant was when she placed the drops in them also. I'd never recommend her to anyone. I'd give negative stars if that was possible.

I have been seeing Dr. Rhodes for over three years. I have always had a great experience when seeing her. She is very kind and takes great care to answer all my questions. I recommend to everyone.

After two visits regarding having cataract surgery, Dr. Rhodes has decided the day before my first surgery to cancel my surgeries because she is afraid to deal with my autoimmune disorder, which I was very forthcoming about. No one explained my surgery aftercare or what antibiotics or other medications would be involved until the day before surgery, because I left a voice mail 4 days earlier explaining my allergy/reaction concerns. Her staff spent more time talking to me that she did, and mostly answered my questions with "I don't know, you will have to ask Dr. Rhodes." However, they did not ask Dr. Rhodes to return to the treatment room to address any of my questions. A doctor is only as good as her staff, and in this case her staff is, in my opinion, incompetent. At this point, I am glad the surgeries are cancelled, because I do not anyone from this practice to touch my eyes.

Awful outcome with cataract surgery. Have changed doctors and now wearing Scleral contacts to correct vision. Entire family has changed facilities and doctors.

Dr Rhodes is a very good doctor but was very disappointed last week when she refused to see my son that she has been treating for years. My son had a brain aneurysm in 2004 left arm, leg ,face ,tongue and left lung paralyzed yes he has a hard time breathing and would not wear a mask . He tested negative for covid a week ago

I appreciate Dr Rhodes to the highest. She is attentive to your questions and your needs. Very professional, knowledgeable and caring.

My visit with Rhodes was the best eye Dr. visit I ever had. I had bad problems with infections in my eyes. The visit was extremely thorough. She shoots from the hip, very serious and precise in her diagnosis. Her accurate diagnosis has saved me from serious problems. The entire visit was very efficient and accurate and pleasant. thanks Dr. Rhodes

Found her brisk and cold. Spent almost no time with me.

Very deceptive

Dr. Rhodes has a great personality in addition to being a very talented ophthalmologist. Her staff is great also.
