Dr. Ansu Punnoose, DO

If I could leave a review with 0 stars, I would. My experience with Dr. Ansu Punnose was the worst I’ve ever had with any doctor. She was 20 minutes late for our virtual visit, and when we finally started, I began explaining the reason for my appointment, specifically that I wanted to follow up on my illness and request a blood lab order. Within just 2 minutes of the call, Dr. Punnose began berating me, saying, "You are 45 years old. I can't accept that as an excuse," when I tried to explain why my last doctor’s visit was in December of 2023. I don't understand why that would even be a statment a doctor would make. I wasn't asking for her to accept anything but just explainng the circumstances that led me to where I was at that time. Her tone was condescending and dismissive, showing a complete lack of bedside manner. She clearly made negative assumptions about me and how I was managing my illness, which left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. I expect my healthcare providers to be empathetic and professional, but this was far from that. I will not be returning to this clinic and highly discourage others from seeking care from Dr. Punnose.
