The clinic charged me the full amount of $383.00 on my first visit without consideration of my insurance discount. Once I found this from the insurance company, the clinic told me that they had not submitted the claim as I had paid the visit in full! Once they finally submitted the claim, my actual responsibility was $141, i.e. they overcharged me $242. I had to call them every 2 weeks before they finally refunded me the overcharge after more than 3 months.
