I normally use Winchester, but at the time of my delivery she was on vacation so they called El Hayek. He was very late. So late that I was told I had to stop pushing bc if I kept going a nurse would have to deliver and they’re not allowed. As soon as he comes in he pulls out a kit, and walks over and immediately cuts me and has me push. I was so angry. The whole time, I was letting the nurses know I wanted my daughter to stay attached to the placenta for at least five mins. I heard them relay the message to him and immediate he cut the cord. Did not let my daughter’s father. I had a really hard time catching my breath after pushing and he told me “oh stop, you should not be having any issues catching your breath.” My second delivery I had Winchester and she was amazing. My babies ended up being the same weight, my second with a bigger head. I didn’t need cut and she allowed dad to cut the cord, and prolonged clamping and cutting the cord. I’ve used Winchester since I was 14. Love her.

Great Doctor!
Dr. El-Hayek has been my OB/GYN for 23 years. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and personable. The office offers mammograms on site, which is very convenient. I highly recommend Dr. El-Hayek!

Dr. El-Hayek is my current gynecologist and delivered two of my four children. We previously live in Cleveland during my first two pregnancies. With my 1st, I had an abnormal Pap smear. My CCF doctor recommended a procedure during pregnancy, which Dr El-Hayek recommended against while I was pregnant. Unfortunately, we went with the CCF doctors advice and it was the worst decision of my life. Had we listened to Dr El-Hayek, I believe my three children would not have been born premature due to the complications that arose after the procedure. He is a kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.

Although the Dr is just ok, his staff is rude and uncaring. They gave me 3 different surgery times because his scheduling nurse kept changing my time, even though I specifically told them I wanted a morning surgery time. The last straw was the day before surgery, they changed me to an afternoon appointment. Due to Dr El-Hayek's staff, I found a different doctor.

Rude office staff, LONG wait times, and in general unhelpful and uncaring. I was told months ago that my breast lump was a fibroadenoma and that it was harmless. A mammogram was recommended but not necessary. Months later it has grown tremendously and Dr. El-Hayek and a nurse are right outside the office where I've been waiting over 40 minutes talking rudely about how I never got a mammogram. Not everyone has unlimited money to get harmless things checked out.

I was referred to him by my primary health Dr because of abnormal cyst in my ovaries. After test showed that it was just a large deformed cyst I insisted on having a complete hysterectomy. I tried to schedule a follow-up but was asked why I needed one. Then they called me to tell me it was important to come to the office because the cyst was a tumor & I was lectured about not scheduling a follow-up. To get me in the office I was told that I had cancer but when I got there I was told maybe had it

He told me I needed surgery on my bladder and did not take the time to explain the surgery or answer my questions. I felt like he was just after the money from the surgery. He took very little time with me period, but especially wanting to do surgery. Then I felt pressured to schedule it, even though I wasn't ready. On other occasions he spent very little time with me. Did the pap test and poof, he was gone. I have nothing good to say about him.
