Dr. Antoine Mitri, MD

I find it hard to believe a neurologist doesn’t know how to work a phone or answer an email. The staff are just as incompetent. Simply put they’re not smart enough to be working in the medical field.

I’ve known Dr. Mitri for years!! My mother was diagnosed with MS months before I was born and would take me to her appointments. I always remembered her having the most difficult times with his employees. 20 years later, I’m now experiencing seizures and was referred to Dr. Mitri, that was a HUGE mistake! Neither I, my primary doctor, my mother, or my insurance has been able to get in contact with his office. This is completely unprofessional and to think I looked up to this man as a kid. I can’t believe he cannot get his office under control.

Waited 6 months for appointment. Had labs one week before scheduled appointment. Got a call they forgot to put through proper paperwork and had to cancel. Very unprofessional.

I have ALWAYS had AMAZING experiences with Dr. Mitri. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. I trust his expertise as he has been practicing for many years and treats his patients with kindness and compassion. Dr. Mitri radiates good and kind characteristics and I promise that your expereince will be as good as mine always are.

Been a patient with Dr. Mitri for 24 years. I love his service. Is that enough NO!!!! the Staff is as worse as any patients should have to tolerate. Spoke to the Dr. Well so much he can do. Loosing a Patient because of his staff? YES! It's my health I have had seizures since 4 years. Old. I need Medical attention when I need it. Not when the staff Says so. Thank you Dr. Mitri. please pay attention to your reviews.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced from the staff and Dr. Mitri. I was rushed, my questions about the medication were not answered. He told me to look at the pamphlet. By far the worst medical office ever.

There was no visit. Ended up having to follow up with my primary to request them to modify my referral to another Neurologist. This facility is not professional. Phones were only answered to screen calls and provide false call back promises otherwise you reach a loud beep cause nobody answers during normal business hours...Not even decent enough to provide a professional greeting for the practice. Medical matters should be addressed with respect and urgency and I don't even trust non ethical actions like these.

I didn’t actually come in to the office after reading the reviews your office staff the girls at answer the phone need to be taught some professionalism and manners they are so rude along with the other office they put you on hold playing music and just leave you there they don’t even answer the phone and say hello you really need to get some better receptionists and medical assistants Or please re-train the ones that you have and teach them how to talk to patients and patients family members over the phone this is really unacceptable

Where to begin... front office is unprofessional, insurance company has been attempting to contact them for a week regarding my Parkinsons medication, after the office repeatedly answered the phone and immediately hung up, I finally was able to speak to somebody, and apparently there is only 1 person in the office that handles prescriptions, and she has conveniently been off work all week with nobody to take care of her duties. Every visit has taken at least 3 hours, they triple book, and demand cash only despite the medical group stating they must accept other methods of payment. A disaster from top to bottom. Visit this 'doctor' at your own peril.

5/21/19 1hr on phone put on hold 7 times, 7th person Ophelia, answered, & said we’re closed, we can’t book any appt., you have to call back tmrw. I explained, I’ve been place on hold 6 times in 1 hr., to make an appt. For 2wks, no one answers the phone, I need an appt., I’ve been waiting 1 hr, & this is inappropriate. Ophelia, Rude tone, I’m Busy, & I’m going hang up the phone! You can’t Cuss me out! I said, In the Name Of Jesus ur a Liar ??, stop lying & performing in front of people, you know I’m not Cussing at you! You are costing the Drs. Money, & doing a disservice to Patients, & I will inform the Dr. & file a Complaint ur unprofessional Behavior! She hung up the phone. 5/22/19 I drove to Dr. office, made an appt. they gave me an appt for 5/23/19, 9am 5/23/19,I called Dr. office, to inform them I would be late due to waiting for my ride. No anwser! I arrived 9:45am, they had me sign in & was helpful & kind.I saw Dr. To my surprise he was my Mothers & Brothers Dr. ??

This man is strictly medical hungry he said I had MS in 2014 I do I am not pleased with this document all people are misdiagnosed like me myself I was given in a injection in my back and the doctor hit a nerve so that left me with nerve damage this man said I had MS when I woke up with nerve damage in 2014 after the injection is just so unfair how some doctors can misdiagnosing you my friend also wrongfully diagnose by him with nerve damage to her face we really need some neurologist who care??

Although it was very busy office it was definitely worth the wait I saw Dr. Mitri hands-down one of the best neurologist in California he was very attentive and knowledgeable about my medical condition. Dr. Mitri has experience I was looking for and I would definitely recommend booking an appointment with Dr. Mitri!

It's impossible to get someone on the phone and when you finally do they tell you to call back later and then they never answer!

Tried to schedule an appt and Maria was rude and unhelpful. After 10 minutes on the phone asking me questions, she tells me I have to call my other doctor to have them fax her info because she's too busy to call herself. Guess which one of us is getting paid to while on the phone.

The doctor's office is dirty and dingy and run like a crowd 70's t.v. welfare office. You wait hours in the noisy dirty overcrowded front office with a load t.v. blaring to cover all of the screaming and yelling. I was supposed to go there for a nerve test with Dr. Prentice in one visit. Dr. Prentice referred me to Dr. Mitri for the test, then I had to go back to Prentice for the results, which they could not give me, and my primary Ortho never. It is an awful experience, believe me!

I highly recommend Dr. Mitri with friends and family, I've been his patient for the past 20 yrs. 4 yrs ago my primary Doctor recommended that I get the flu shot, which was My surprise that I was allergic to it, so the next morning I called Dr. Mitri in an hour I was being checked by him in his office and he gave me the right medication to stop the seizures in my brain, which had been under control for several months before the flu shot, thank you Dr. Mitri.

It is impossible to get in touch with the Dr. to get an appointment because they never answer the phone. My husband is paralyzed and when we finally got an appointment he didn't get us the authorization for the handicap ride needed to get there. I tried walking Mark to his therapy treatments that were a mile and a half from my house. The problem is, I am disabled too with RA and of coarse I ended up falling down and getting hurt. So he didn't get the therapy he really needs bad .

Dr Mitri is great. I was calling for my mom. It's his nurse. Aren't nurses suppose to be nice, compassionate & caring? I called...was put on hold for the nurse forever. She answered the phone and said what do you want? Hold on....starts talking to someone else then comes back all rudely and in a rush asking me what I want. Unbelievable. I will NEVER take my mom there again!! She is the rudest nurse I have EVER seen in my life.
