Dr. Anton Dotson, MD

I'm disappointed with Dr. Dotson and several his staff. I sought testing and treatment for my extensive antibiotic and severe environmental allergies. First, Dotson said there's no way to test my antibiotic allergies--though my PCP disagrees and had referred me to Dotson precisely for that. Second, for my seasonal allergies, Dotson merely told me to buy a different antihistamine and eye drops, but it turned out the 'new' meds were exactly what I'd told him I already was using--just pricier brands. Also, before having seasonal allergy testing I specifically asked and staff 'confirmed' my insurance coverage. Turns out they never checked and they were wrong--resulting in an unexpected bill that could've easily been avoided. They spoke to me in an unprofessional way and refused to adjust the bill at all for their error. Also, when testing revealed my severe allergies, I was told Dotson was unavailable for about 4 months so I couldn't get any explanation of my test results or how to manage.

I love Dr. Dotson. He is very caring and compassionate. I feel like I am in good hands with him. I have been seeing him for 2 years now!
