Incompetent staff. Inaccurate Directory
In the Cigna Pysycisian directory, it says he practices rheumatology in Eagle Pass Texas. We spent two weeks getting Insurance referral approval paperwork with the Eagle Pass office on it. After two weeks and several phone calls dealing with incompetent staff, we finally got an appointment! Wait? What? He does have an office in Eagle Pass but he won't do his *specialty* in his office in Eagle Pass- you have to drive another 100 miles to Laredo Texas. Unbelievable! Making sick people waste weeks of time! Now we have to start the process all over again. What a cruel man!

Met Dr. Mancera on first visit, have not seen him after the initial consultation, the physician assistant is the one that sees me now, would like Dr. Mancera to check on me as well, I don’t like to ask every time I go that I need to see him, otherwise good Dr.

I've consulted with Dr. Mancera for the past 3- 4 years and at first I loved his dedication he showed to his patients but now it's completely the opposite and the wait time is horrible. Not to mention that I've been waiting for my prescription to be pre-authorized since March 2017. I've been off meds since this past February and I'm in tremendous pain and looking for a new rheumatologist.

I saw Dr Mancera for about a year. Each visit was at least two to three hr wait time and only about a 5 minute consult. Ridiculous wait time for such a short office visit. Loved his infusion nurses. They were awesome and I already them. Unfortunately not worth continuing to wait and also see the poor elderly people having to sit thru those wait times.

Wait times are ridiculous. Usually over 2 hours. I have already recommended him, but office and wait times need improvement.

If you want to visit a doctor's waiting room and spend half a day in the waiting room and not consult the doctor then this is the place to go. Such was my experience. My consolation is that if the waiting experience is a reflection of the quality of the service provided by the doctor then I am very happy that I did not get to visit with him. My recommendation look for someone else.

Dr. Mancera's wait time has improved with the addition of physician assistants. They even have a new walk-in clinic if I need to be seen that day or the next. I am grateful Dr. Mancera strives to always make me pain free by continuing to try different new medications and think outside the box. The office has a dedicated nurse who helped me with all the paperwork to get my expensive medication approved by my insurance company. I am always offered free samples to last me until they are approved.

I have been going to Dr. Man era for awhile now. He is very careful about what he does and always crosses all his T!s and dots his I!s before prescribing any medicine. I'm very comfortable with him and would recommend him in a heart beet. Feel I do not have to go out of town for good care.

Waited 3 hours to see the Dr. and finally gave up---very frustrating! Drove 2 hours in the rain for nothing---office was full and they obviously overbooked. I guess their most important priority is numbers and $$$$. Book as many as you can and forget about patient's wait time and inconvenience. I cannot evaluate Dr. Mancera after just one visit--my complaint is the waiting time it takes to get to see the Dr.
