Warning: Do not choose Dr Anup Mathew!
When I made an appointment it could not be scheduled for 4 months, then the appointment disappeared on their end so I had to reschedule with the Dr's NP forn1 month later. I have a lot of pain and suffering in my GI tract. The office scheduled a colonoscopy and endoscopy and then called to cancel my procedure stating the Dr. is going to be gone for 4 months. When I tried to call to figure out what was next I was on the phone waiting for 3 hours throughout the day with assurances of a return call that never happened. Just giving a warning. I have no idea of what good care looks like with this Dr. but it has been stressful to say the least. I hope they can get there office figured out and give humans the care they deserve.

I have had a colonoscopy and 3 endoscopies
Excellent results each time. Always takes time to explain the results; very easy to discuss things with her. The only issue I have, it’s difficult at times to get someone on the phone.

Do not use this doctor. She demands multiple tests that cause extreme pain and withholds life saving medication if you disagree with any part of your treatment-including sending a terminally ill patient out of state when she chooses to prioritize quality of life.

Very dangerous Dr.
I highly advise you use any other doctor. Dr. Mathew is borderline dangerous. She injured my colon during a colonoscopy and I had to be transported to banner Boswell emergency room where Dr. Goodman had to perform an emergency laparoscopy. He said she used too much air and it caused a tear in my colon. I spent 4 days in banner Boswell recovering from the injury she caused. Prior to the surgery Dr. Goodman attempted to reach her multiple times but she wouldn't return his call. When he finally did get her on the phone I could hear him ask her "Aren't you aware you have a patient over here in the ER? You could tell he was very frustrated with her lack of concern. Over a month later and still dealing with severe diarrhea. Banner Del Webb emergency room diagnosed me as being positive for c-diff. When I call her office you can tell she's very irritated and she's short and rude. I feel like I'm supposed to apologize for bothering her with something as unimportant as my health.

Recently, I experienced excellent care by Dr. Mathew and her team. I had colonoscopy and it was seamless. Everyone thorough, kind and gentle. I felt great afterwards, took a one hour nap, and then worked all day.

Dr acted very strange - took husband off Rx he needs to stay alive - for test - test never scheduled - his situation not optional - followed us out as we leaving & threatened us if we behaved badly - what? We waited long time - not bad - cray cray or racist? Year later she calls for where are you what happened. Surgery not optional to wait - I asked referring Dr to reach out to a peer clearly having issues - no - "this is business. "

Doctor is abrupt with poor bedside manner- insulting. Who does she think that she is???? Her policies are ridiculous with a total pompous attitude. See any other doctor before you waste your time with this one!

I saw Dr Mathew after receiving a referral from another doctor (who is also a patient of Dr Mathew). I found Dr Mathew to be thorough, knowledgeable, highly intelligent, and caring. She is truly one of the finest doctors I have seen in many years. Not only did she discuss issues relating to her specialty, but also provided excellent advice on other issues visualized on a CT scan. I highly recommend Dr Mathew as a great doctor and as a caring person.

Please be clear about your appointments with doctor. In case if you don't show up on appointment they will add charge, even though you are out of country or some emergency. They will not send any reminder about appointment date.
