Dr. Anushka Arumugasaamy, MD

Dr. Arumugasaamy is nice, but I feel wholly displeased with her medical care. I went to her concerning an incredibly painful medical condition that severely impacted my quality of life. After a year of conservative treatment and an unhealthy reliance on laxatives to get through each day (a practice encouraged by Dr. A), there was very little improvement in my condition. My final straw at this office came when I asked for a note to continue working from home since my condition caused severe pain when sitting in chairs, among other things. She denied this request and I left the office in tears. I found another healthcare provider who actually performed the NECESSARY surgical intervention I needed, and the chronic condition that had plagued me for a year was corrected in a couple of months. Again, she comes across as nice, but I remain deeply frustrated with her reluctance to pursue a more aggressive treatment and her inability to take my pain seriously.
