I will be going tlfor 2nd opinion after cataract and glaucoma surgery with Dr Sharma. 2 1/2 months after 1 eye surgery, I'm still having complications. She never wants to give ne specific eye pressure info after repeatedly asking her every visit. She has no bedside manner and barely even looks at me when speaking. She seems rushed after I've been waiting to see her. Not very professional.

Wish i would have done my research
I left the office feeling not only disappointed and like I wasted my time but desperate for help to relieve my pain and talk about surgery (for what i was told was pinguecula in my eye). This was my second time visiting this doctor, she didn’t acknowledge that and treated me like a first time patient. did not even give me steroid eye drops, sent me to blink Rx which began to give me sales calls while im at work and I was hassling to get these eye drops delivered to me (couldnt be through a pharmacy apparently).I told this Doctor i wanted surgery with how much it has been affecting my day to day life and she basically turned that down and said my contact lenses are whats causing discomfort not the growth in my eye… i then get the eye drops just for them to give me relief for 10 minutes tops. Absolutely disappointing and I have since found a different doctor who communicates with me properly, will potentially do surgery with me and test the growth on my eye for a diagnosis.

Awful dr
Doesnt like to be asked questionsDoesnt like to answer questions Kept giving me steroid drops visit after visit no diagnosis for my inflamed red eyesWhen i asked for another note to work from home she said “ federal law prohibited her and i could go back into work. This is after i came in and my eyesight was worse Went to another specialist to find out she had NOT told me i had the beginnings of cataracts due to all the steroid drops she had been prescribing and had me on another drop that is for pain which i never had and breaks down the muscle tissue. Dont EVER. Go to her!!

Rushed Doctor
I saw Dr. Sharma for cataract removal. When she entered the exam room she introduced herself with no pleasantries and immediately started the eye exam. I felt she was in a rush and hurry to move onto her next patient. None of my questions were answered other then we will discuss them on the next appointment. I also waited 30 minutes for her to come into the exam room.

I went to Dr. Sharma last summer. She told me I needed cataract surgery (I am 71). I had a follow up visit to go over the procedure and schedule me for pre op. I then had another visit with the nurse for pre op. Two days before the surgery, her office called to tell me the surgery was cancelled because (1) I was in treatment for macular-degeneration. When I called the office back, (2) I was told I had to wait until my retina treatment was finished before I could have surgery. (3) Then it was changed to wait 10 weeks. (4) I then spoke with Dr. Sharma. She said my retina specialist had recommended against it. (5) I called my doctor and he said that he said no such thing to her and that he never spoke with her. (5) I confronted her with what my doctor said and she said that she didn't understand the confusion and that she would reschedule my surgery. I never received a call back for the surgery. Réad the other reviews. I don't recommend her.

I have dry eyes. I was referred to Dr. Sharma to confirm the diagnosis and recommend treatment. She performed a thorough eye exam and explained her findings in detail. She also recommended a treatment plan. Her detailed and easy to understand explanation made this visit one of the best doctor-patient experiences I had. And being 83 years old I had many. I rate Dr. Sharma an outstanding caregiver.

Saw Dr. Sharma for cataract surgery evaluation. She was very professional and thorough in her explanation of my condition and possible treatment/surgery. With the exception of what seemed like a very lengthy wait period after eyes were dilated, I give her 5 stars in all other areas. (Having had a career that was often evaluated like this, I have learned these evaluations often tell more about the evaluatOR than the evaluatEE. Most of the current evaluations are very unhelpful. I hope I'll be permitted to provide a helpful update to this evaluation once I've had the surgery.

Dr. Sharma did an excellent job performing the cross-linking procedure. She was informative and took really good care of me. I was extreamly frighten of the procedure, and Dr Sharma bedside manners were very calming and caring. Post procedure, she was very innovative and walked with me with every step of the healing process. I have another cross-linking procedure with her in a few weeks and I couldn't be more ready and relaxed. Thank you Dr. Sharma.

As far as cataract surgery goes, please go to someone else ... not sure she knows what she is doing!!! Signed : former patient She sent me into cataract surgery without explaining the different lens, options I had, NOTHING. BOOM - let's secudule surgery - that's it. My right lens is not in correctly, and she insists it is. I'm going to have to seek help elsewhere!

Found her to be rushed when answering my questions and made me feel uncomfortable with surgery. Bedside manner not applicable here - as she has none. Will be looking for a different surgeon as I have a complicated eye issue.
