Thank you!
I am 6 months past my surgery and fully recovered for a while now. Dr. Emami was compassionate, explained everything completely in a way that you could understand, and gave me full confidence in the surgery. I am so grateful for this talented doctor. His office personnel also did a great job explaining what insurance would cover. Thank you!

This Dr Arash Emami misled, lied and blindsided me with an elaborate procedure performing fusion, laminectomy, grafting among other things on my spine when I was suppose to have had a lesser, minor procedure of which he spoke to me in detail which was a micro discectomy. Day of the surgery dr Emami never met with me before or after immediate surgery. The following day was when I found what dr Emami did throw one of his associates. Needless to say, I was in shock. His surgery effected my gluteal muscles and I will never walk on my own again. His surgery triggered various varied surgeries from two back revision surgeries, to two ligament transpose surgeries since I lost tons of nerve endings to partial Mingus removal on my right knee to delay total knee replacement but to no avail. Since I struggled to walk with crutches I eventually also had total knee replacement. I take pain medication on a daily basis. This Dr Arash Emami did this never discussed surgery to collect almost $250,000.

Dr Emami performed a cervical fusion on me due to a car accident. I have had five other orthopedic surgeries with other doctors and I have to tell you he is a class A doctor. I have become very picky and he really knew his stuff. My husband also ended up having a laminectomy by Dr Emami

Dr. Emami is a life saver!! I had been suffering with severe pain from cervical disc herniations. I had been to many surgeons but couldn't seem to find the right fit. From the minute I met him I had complete trust in him. He was compassionate, respectful, thorough, personal, empathetic and confident. I was so impressed by his team as well. The office staff was amazing, making sure all my needs were met. Dr. Emami was able to drastically improve my health and quality of life and for that I am eternally grateful!! Thank you Dr. Emami for giving me back my life!

I came to Dr Emami for a 2nd opinion. I had symptoms that were getting worse over a 2 year or more time frame. I had radiating pain mostly down my left leg and had trouble walking even short distances. Chiropractor provided no solution, Physical Therapy helped a little, 2 injections into L4-L5 provided only hours of relief. Dr Emami explained that I may require more complex surgery to address the multiple disc, stenosis, and arthritis issues in the future but nerve decompression surgery would provide immediate relief. I had Micro Laminectomy L4-L5 left side on 11 Nov 2019 and there was immediate relief. With Physical Therapy, now 4 months post surgery I am high 90% pain free, can do almost everything I could do before, and continue to improve. Dr Emami was always patient and addressed all my concerns. I really appreciated his reassuring and encouraging attitude. EVERYONE in the office was just as polite and helpful. I have already recommended Dr Emami to others.

A huge thank you to the staff in both the Wayne & Clifton offices- I reported to Wayne for my appointment with Dr. Emami when my appointment was made for the Clifton office. My fault entirely. The staff person in the Wayne office immediately called the Clifton office to announce my late arrival. I could’ve easily been told to reschedule. I was half an hour late to Clifton (traffic). I was greeted with empathy upon arrival. Dr. Emami spent time explaining my issue and was complimentary of the efforts of my chiropractor (Dr. Nepa in Woodland Park) for his treatments to provide symptom relief. Dr. Emami recommended I continue treatment rather than leap to surgery. He also offered pain management as an option without forcing the issue. I am pleased and thankful for the kindness and consideration afforded me by Dr. Emami and his staff.

Dr. Emami is a phenominal surgeon! He operated on our 36 year old special needs son in November 2019 to straighten his 70 degree scoliosis and he did a fabulous job. My son was blessed to have Dr. Emami as his surgeon. We are grateful to Dr. Emami for his superb skills as a spine surgeon. We also want to thank his office staff and his nurse Michelle, they were always very nice and helpful with any questions we had pre-op Anthony's surgery and post-op his surgery. We strongly recommend Dr. Emami for spinal surgery. Thank you! Sincerely, Debbie, Harold & Anthony Liberatore

I herniated a disc in my back while lifting which rendered me helpless. As an avid soccer player and skier, I was unable to do the things I love. It was painful to sit and walk. That all changed when I came to University Spine Center. Dr. Emami is a personable and attentive physician. His great bedside manner and communication told me exactly what was wrong and what to expect from surgery. I had a discectomy and recovery was quick. Now I am back doing the things I love, pain-free.

Dr. Emami has been treating me for nearly 4 years. He was not only able to diagnose an odd bone disease for my age, but has also performed (2) successful lumbar surgeries since then. I am extremely impressed with Dr. Emami. He does not rush anything and doesn't give any false hopes. I am now 2.5 months post surgery (L4-S1 spinal fusion) and am completely satisfied with the outcome and his staff.
