I can't give enough praise for Dr. Poursina. Through, knowledgeable, and not in a rush. Have been seeing him for infections from advanced diabetes and his diagnosis's are right on.

I adore Dr Poursina! He’s so thorough, making sure you understand your diagnosis and treatment. He takes the time to do that, which is rare these days! And all the staff, from the front to the back, are amazing!!! I wish this was my only doctor and doctors office!

No waiting, office personnel were friendly, office was clean, and Dr. Poursina was very knowledgable and patient with my elderly mother.

Dr. Poursina saved my life and if his assistant sees you, that person is very well informed of your situation. I saw a comment where a person stated "he/she could have gone home earlier" according to the admitting doctor at Piedmont. Dr. Poursina knows what he is doing and the admitting "doctors" at Piedmont are very jealous. I saw it so many times and I am thankful for Dr. Poursina.

Dr. Poursina was called in as a consult while I was in the hospital. He was called in on a Wednesday. He showed up at 4:30ish on Thursday, spent 10 minutes with me and left. He then took 4 1/2 hours to input his orders for new antibiotics in the chart. My condition improved, so he did the right thing. However, he did not show up to see me at all on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. The admitting physician said I was ok to go home by over the week end, but he couldn't release me without Dr. Pousina's approval. He had been conrtacted numerous times by both the nurses and the admitting physician, but did not bother to show up. On Tuesday he finally sent his Physicians Assistant, and I was discharged. Something that should have resulted in a 2-3 day hospitalization lasted a week, largely due to Dr. Poursina's failure to respond to repeated requests to see me.

Dr. Poursina is the most compassionate doctor I have ever met he was my companion and best friend through the entire process and my family and I are forever grateful and thankful to him he is humble down to earth but loves his patients and goes over and beyond all expectations. His hands on approach and attention to every little detail left the entire family in awe

I truly beleive he saved my life. He takes the time to get to the bottom of your problem and finds the very specific bacteria and treats it with the correct antibiotic for as long as it takes to rectify the situation. He is the best and I highly recommend him.
