I regret not checking here first
Dr Z demanded that I attend in person to a clinic 15 miles away so I could be sat in front of a monitor for an appointment that he was only willing to attend virtually. We then chatted for 15-20 minutes at which point he said that the diagnosis his own employer had given me was invalid. This diagnosis involved several hours of clinical testing, but he laughed it off and said "I'm a *real* doctor; I can tell in minutes if someone has that". He then proceeded to openly mock both the physician who diagnosed me, and me. If your provider tries to pawn you off on this rude and unprofessional hack, demand better or find a new provider.

Very professional and compassionate
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Z’s for about two years now. He’s very professional, polite, and I always feel heard when it comes to my issues and concerns. I would recommend Dr. Z to my family and friends. Thank you, Dr. Z.

ARROGANT AND UNPROFESSIONAL
If I could leave a NEGATIVE 5 star rating I would. Don't waste your time, go seek a different provider. Absolutely no level of professionalism and very arrogant. If you want an argumentative provider who is in a hurry to get on with their day, Dr. Zamanian is right for you. This man shows no interest in his job and is more focused on getting you out of his room and to collect from the insurance company. It's so sad to see how someone like this man is considered "qualified" when in fact he is the least qualified for the position that he is in.

He is always rude and condescending. Extremely unprofessional. Thinks everyone else's diagnosis is wrong. Always rushes.

As only a 2-star rating indicating that there are many of the 38 other people here who who did not have a good experience with this psychiatrist, Arash Zamanian (or Zamanian Arash), the same here. I came to him to be of help to me, NOT to hurt me. It was actually for a child of mine that I came to him for. From the get go, I did not have a good feeling of him, and I wanted to stop the session half way into the interview as he was being rude, but I let him finish for the sake of my child. Later, when viewing the report that he made, I saw that it included derogatory statements about me. Mind you, I did not turn to him about myself, but about my son, so Dr. Zamanian HAD NO BUSINESS WRITING ABOUT ME. Ironically, I do not know what this psychiatrist was thinking, but no normal person would circulate derogatory information about oneself to others, so I was not able to send this report the way it was written to other parties. To note, he works for Open Hearts in Phoenix.
