My “go to” when any part of musculoskeletal hurts
He is the first stop when any part of my musculoskeletal system is not functioning well or is painful. He actually LISTENS and asks questions not only about that one painful area but about many aspects of your body-life and gives straightforward explanations and multiple options for treatment. He answers telephone calls timely, responds to requests, and will see you quickly if needed. He truly tries to understand you as a person not just a body part. I have had orthopedic problems, including two back surgeries, so I’m not a novice. Ari Greis is one of Rothman’s secret assets. He is also charming and personable, increasingly rare in our society. An “A” Team doctor in so many ways.

Never recommend
I would never recommend Dr. Greis. After I complained of a burning buttock pain he ordered a Cat scan. After viewing the result he 2x performed epidural injections on my lower back. I knew something was off when other patients with same procedure were given follow-up appointments. I was not. Since I had no improvement I consulted a different orthopedist who viewed same Cat scan and said nothing was wrong with my back. Eventually diagnosed with hairline fracture of the pelvis. Dr. Greis wasted my time and cost me weeks of pain.

Thorough appointment
Dr. Greis remains my go to problem solver as my spine continues to age and change. He always offers a few different solutions and is always willing to try least invasive first. An excellent clinician who has his patient’s best interest at heart.

Dr. Greis explained the reasons for my back pain and the options for taking care of it. He was very thorough in suggesting treatment including physical therapy. I highly recommend Dr. Greis.

I would highly recommend Dr Greis
I have been seeing Dr Greis for a little over a year and he is wonderful. He is friendly, caring, listens and makes you feel so comfortable. But the best is that he takes the time and really cares and that’s golden.

I had a great experience with Dr. Greis and the staff at Rothman. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to ask me a lot of questions and understand all of my symptoms. It was nice to see a doctor that genuinely seems to care and wasn’t rushing me through the appointment. I would highly recommend him, and I’m happy with his treatment plan for my back issues.

Dr. Greis was dismissive, uncaring and a waste of my time and Medicare dollars. The x-rays done in-office were incomplete, he didn't make a differential diagnosis based on my history, and I walked out with no more knowledge than I had and no treatment plan. Stay away from this doctor and Rothman in general. Big money maker and poor patient care.
