Nonchalant
I saw Dr. Barkan for over 5 years for a pituitary tumor he seemed very knowledgeable. But when I said the testosterone medication was a hassle he said I didn't need it so I stopped using it. When I changed endocrinologists the new one said absolutely to use it to prevent osteoporosis. Now I have osteoporosis

Would give a zero if it were possible in this rating system. He does not seem interested in actually treating patients. Before seeing him, I recommend reviewing his resume.

My mother has seen this doctor and he seems to think that the tumor they removed did not exist. also i didnt appreciate him telling my mother that she "will never be a blonde bombshell" especially since her hormones are still off and she has depression. this doctor is also very rude and does not let you speak and makes you think your symptoms are in your head. waste of time AND money.
