Dr. Aries Liu-Helm, MD

I had a bit of a wait which was unusual, but Dr. Liu-Helm was every attentive to my concerns offered suggestions and ideas to help with allergy issues . The office staff was kind and took care of all my requests. I would definitely recommend her to people needing an allergist .

So I will start out by saying I choose this based on the fact that she was with buffalo medical group and every doctor that I have seen at buffalo medical has been great. This experience was awful and super uncomfortable. This doctor had zero bedside matters. All other staff was wonderful and super friendly and professional. So I took a day off of work paid an $160 copay a d had zero answers after leaving this office. I went there to figure out what I am allergic to. She did a skin test and i had to put a plastic apon on which was completely different from the normal doctor ones. I wish shevwould havevtaken the time to explain how to actually works because it completely ripped around i was trying to figure it out and my boobs are hanging out when the nurse walked in so i am basic naked and she had to help with it.Basic my was cat and ragweed and anyone that has a cat knows they are family. Dr. Liu-Helm was very informative and explained everything. Offcie ran very smoothly, no waiting. Nurses were excellent as well.

Dr Liu-Helm always takes time to talk and get information in making the accurate diagnosis. Dr Liu- Helm analyzes the environmental factors and your body’s immune responses. This Doctor realizes that there are many factors in life that can effect your health. Dr Liu-Helm works to keep you functioning at your best! Highly recommended!!!

Isolated my skin itching with the allergen test on my back. Now I avoid the products that cause the itching. So, kudos to the doctor!

I have had a cough for many months. Dr.Liu Helm listened to my history, diagnosed me and set me on an action plan. Though I have only just begun my treatments with her I feel better already, and the cough is diminishing. Dr. Liu Helm really takes the time to listen. I was referred to Dr. Liu-Helm by my dermatologist as I have had unexplained swelling and rashes since my Covid booster 10 months ago. While I have upcoming patch tests scheduled with Dr. Lou-Helm, I was greatly impressed by this doctor’s demeanor and personality. She listened…really listened, asked many probing questions, and heard what I was saying. The visit was relaxed…not rushed. I did NOT feel like just another patient. She said ‘I want to work with your dermatologist to help you get to the bottom of this issue.’ SOLD! Knowledgeable, kind, super-bubbly, and kind office staff!

I already left a review in May of 2019, but would like to add information about Dr. Liu-Helm so patients are aware of certain assets in her favor besides these reviews. She is a top doctor on the Buffalo Spree Top Doctor list as well as the Castle Connolly Top Doctor list. No doctor can buy their way onto either of these lists. They have to be top doctors in fact. Dr Aries Liu-Helm is truly a top doctor.
