Dr. Arpineh Minassi, MD

Dr. Minassi is not genuine at all, extremely fake. She twists her hair into bun while she talks to you, showing you how not important you are when asking questions. So very unprofessional. I would never recommend her to anyone.

I stopped going to Minassi she’s rude, dismissive and only cares about you being overweight! I have multiple miscarriages and finally have a pregnancy that progressed to my third trimester, she told me my baby will die if I don’t lose weight! Mind you I didn’t come to her about my weight! My baby is perfectly healthy and strong! She cancels my appointments for “vacation, sickness” but then tells the staff I refused to show up! She’s a horrible excuse for an OB she never listened to me only degraded me because of being overweight. All my paperwork she handed in had miscarriages due to obesity! She doesn’t know why I had miscarriages she was never my doctor! I switched doctors ASAP! And he actually listened and helped me. My paperwork from him says nothing about my weight it says miscarriages due to unknown causes! I will never go back to Minassi she need to be fired! Or go back to training to learn compassion for people!

Best kept secret in Hanford! I have seen Dr. Minassi twice and each visit, her excellent bedside manners and genuine smile made me feel comfortable and at ease, even during the commonly-known-dreaded female pelvic exam. I didn't feel awkward at all. She truly cares for her patient and goes out of her way to ensure her patients get the best care. I highly recommend her to friends and family.

In my last prenatal appt at 22 weeks I informed this med provider that I wanted to ask questions regarding her perspective on birth, inductions, her personal ratings of medical invasiveness. She seemed abrasive with her responses, dismissing and invalidating my values/beliefs on what delivery and labor is desired for me. She works with doulas but stated "I excused a doula last week because she was telling me what to do. I will not let someone tell me what to do." She responded aggressively and her tone of voice was elevated with this comment. She made me feel incompetent and clearly she seems like she doesn't respect a patients birth right, medical declines and idea of what birth is for a patient. Her doctor appts are long in wait to be seen and less than 10 mins in the room with her. She asks how you doing, checks the baby with an ultrasound, doesn't follow up with any pending records or tests unless you ask her. It seems like she doesn't review the chart before entering the room!
