Dr. Arthur Berkson, MD

Excellent. He is well prepared for each visit and reviews all of the details of your life, health and test results. The most thorough physician I have been in contact with. He goes far above and beyond for each of us. People come from all over to see him and be treated. We are all very grateful.

Expect to wait - perhaps a long time. But the wait is well worth it. My first appointment with him was over 3 hours. Appointments are never hurried, and we deal with _everything_. He knows his limitations, refers appropriately, and LISTENS. Pay cash, bill your insurance and let them pay you what they will. Sometime you have to pay for quality. I'll pay him all day, every day. He's that good.

Dr. Berkson always spends a lot of time with me as opposed to my former PCPs who were limited to 15 minutes. I often bring a long list of things to discuss and feel confident that all my concerns will be addressed. If I leave a phone message for refills for prescriptions or with a question, I know that I will get a response in a timely manner. He has made appropriate referrals to other practitioners as appropriate. His being an integrative medicine doctor gives him additional skills and knowledge beyond that of a general practitioner. I had felt let down by my previous PCP and Dr. Berkson made a correct diagnosis and had a solution to a worrisome health issue. Additionally, I am so impressed with his office staff. Whomever I talk to calls me by name, even if I have never dealt with that person previously. I can’t say enough good things about his skills and caring for his patients and his wonderful office staff.

Dr Berkson is extremely competent, and cares for each of his patients in a personal, friendly manner. He spends the time and attention necessary to make sure he understands the issues and prescribes treatment that best fits the situation. His knowledge and practice are right up to date, but his manner is more like a traditional family doctor. I am very happy as his long-term patient and feel lucky to have become associated with him. The office is staffed with the friendliest, most helpful folks you can imagine. Going in for an appointment is like visiting family. Altogether, being a patient of Dr Berkson and his staff is a great way to stay healthy.

Dr Berkson is by far the very best of the best. I have never met a more competent caring doctor. This entire office of professionals care deeply and they do everything in their power to help you. I felt like my health was becoming life threatening so I decided even though it cost me more money...what is money without good health I ask you? He's worth every penny and then some!

Dr. Arthur Berkson is an integrated care specialist who increased his skill and knowledge by working with his father Bert Berkson Ph.D. M.D. Dr. Bert first used alpha lipoic acid IVs to save patients lives in the 1970s. Dr. Arthur's integrated medicine specialty was recognized after he spent time with Andrew Weil M.D. My calcium levels were reaching unhealthy levels and Dr. Arthur referred me to the Norman Parathyroid Clinic in Tampa where I had 2 parathyroid tumors removed. I have met a lady with liver problems caused by treatment for another disease. She was given a few months to live about 8 years ago and she is still doing well after ALA IVs. Research shows that ALA IVs can reverse diabetic neuropathy and save legs. FYI Dr. Arthur spends significant time with each patient and it can be difficult to get an appointment.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Arthur Berkson for some years—but my husband has cancer now, and he also has had a severely degenerated spine that causes a lot of issues, all resulting from being in War for our Country; and, Dr. Arthur Berkson treats him like he’s the only patient he has. Anyone who truly knows this Doctor knows he has more patients than he should have to handle—we’re all patient with any wait time, because we all know he gives everyone the same personal care as he always gives my husband (and me!). He is patient, listens, addresses each concern, and is meticulous with keeping records of things so there’s no questions about what has gone before when we forget, and leaves no stone unturned to care for you, while respecting your wishes at the same time—skillful!! My husband said today after seeing him for severe side effects from chemo that he’s being treated with, “That’s care like you used to get, that’s unheard of today.” I have to agree. He’s the best.

Have been a patient of Dr. Berkson for many years. He takes the time to get to know you as a whole person, thus he sees the details of your situation, as well as any big picture issues that may need addressing. His integrative methods of treatment have been of tremendous help to me. I recommend Dr. Berkson without hesitation. 100 % the best doctor I have ever seen.

Dr Berkson is a competent and compassionate doctor who addresses root causes while getting to know you as a patient personally. I trust him with my life. The nurses and staff are super awesome which is a huge plus!!! We visit all the way from California several times a year.

This Doctor was awful, during my visit he used bad language. Bad attitude towards patients concerns. Not trustworthy, bad experience. Would not recommend to others.

Arthur Berkson is an amazing doctor in so many ways. He is kind, compassionate, and knowledgable. He takes his time with every patient, listening and providing detailed information about all questions, and I love the fact that he is not quick to push drugs for every problem. I recommend him without reservation to anyone who wants a doctor who is open minded about treatment, actually listens to your concerns, and is obviously well-informed about medical issues.

Great doctor. He is very thorough and caring, professional and follows through. Continues to research and stays abreast in his fields. He takes time with each patient . It’s like going to Mayo!

Dr. Burkson takes care of the entire person, not just the illness. He takes a great deal of time each visit, explains issues thoroughly, even drawing diagrams! I cannot say enough about him. I believe he is the best doctor I have ever seen, and I am 76 y/o.

Dr. Arthur Berkson is the best doctor I’ve ever had. He is friendly, caring, intelligent and thorough. He cares about me as a person as well as caring about my medical needs. He will use conventional and/or alternative medicines to best meet my needs. I couldn’t be more pleased. His office staff is also competent and caring, which is s real plus. I think some doctors economize by not paying for the best staff, but his staff goes above and beyond to be helpful.

40 weeks in a Tact2 treatment group. Dr has always been professional and friendly. He is a great Doctor you can trust.
