Worst OBGYN experience ever
Dr Nilson is extremely rude and condescending and does not listen to patients concerns at all. He belittled me and tried to bully me into a radical hysterectomy that is totally unnecessary. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.

As a physician and a patient I highly recommend
I chose Dr Nilson to deliver my 3rd child. The experience was good and I was happy with the care I recieved. Since then he has delivered 4 of my grandchildren. My son and daughter in law are expecting twins next month and he will be delivering them. He’s quick witted and has a great sense of humor which made my visits fun. But he can also get serious quickly and was very compassionate when my daughter lost a baby. He gave her all the time she needed to cry and process what happened. Other times he is quick but he is also very busy. I still see him myself even though I’m getting on in years. He’s a great Doc.

I have used Dr Nilson and his office for all 3 of my babies. My first two sons were both delivered by Dr Rapp (because Dr Nilson wasn’t on call which was fine) which was an amazing experience. My 3rd baby however was delivered by Nilson. I came rushed to the L&D because I was already at a 10 which the nurses confirmed when I got into a labor room. I was ready to push.

This man made me feel disrespected and embarrassed. Chuckled at me and made my inquiry to be sterilized a joke. Told me, " Before you start crying..." before explaining that he had zero interest in talking to me about options. Told me he would, " think really hard about it" when I asked if he could refer me to someone else. Worst doctor experience I have ever had and the insensitivity was unreal.

I’m so glad Dr. Nilson has taken care of me the last six years! I absolutely love working with him and it’s true what the St. Francis’ nurses say... once you find Nilson, you become a Nilson girl!

I LOVE DR. NILSON. I am SHOCKED by the reviews on here. Some of these reviews are so frustrating because so many people could people might miss out on an amazing doctor because they had to wait an extra 20 minutes. Dr. Nilson was so kind, patient, and loving with my husband & I during our infertility journey. He stood by me & held my hand before my laparoscopy because he knew I was scared of what I might find out when I woke up. And he was right. He’s an amazing doctor & I’m forever grateful!

Seems like he rushes you out of the office. All the normal testing is not routinely done. Lack of information given. They didn't even call me to tell me I failed my glucose test. I found out a month later on my own that I have gestational diabetes. At this point I'm 32 weeks pregnant and just found this out. I could have been taking the needed steps sooner had I had a better doctor.

Dr Nilson is VERY cocky. When i first started going to his office, i loved everything about it, except the fact how fast my visits were that I would literally forget all of my questions. Once i disagreed with something he said everything went downhill. He was very disrespectful. Tossing my ultrasound pictures at me and being very short. Doesn't introduce people that come into the room with him and gives the option of hospitals but pressures and pushes you to do what HE feels comfortable with.

Dr. Nilson delivered both of my girls at St Francis Main. He is the best, and his staff at Tulsa Woman's Health are extremely welcoming and friendly. Both of my child birthing experiences were fantastic because of this man, he is a great doctor and a caring person. What more could you ask for?

Dr Nilson was referred to me by my PCP for surgical consult. I had only heard good things so was confident he could help. Needless to say I was taken back when Dr Nilson wanted to do an internal examine on me without a Nurse present. I had also had a CT scan done previous to my visit which he refused to look at stating "those are only done to charge you more money and are unnecessary. " I left his office wondering how he could "such a great Dr."
