Dr. Arthur Signorella, MD

As a medical professional, Dr Signorella went above and beyond for me as a patient.

Dr Signorella is one of the smartest docs I’ve ever met. He’s always treated me with compassion and dignity and he is extremely thorough which is most important when it comes to a doctor caring for a patient. He took fabulous care of me during my pregnancy and now years later still does. I trust him completely.

He was my doctor through the emergency room after I was transported by ambulance for severe hemorrhaging during a miscarriage. He was extremely rude, showed no compassion and even questioned the need for me to even be in the ER clearly not even bothering to read my chart before he came in. There are many details of my horrible experience and his poor treatment that I wish not to share due to my personal privacy. He performed emergency surgery the same day without complications which is why I gave two stars. However someone with his personality and terrible bedside manor should not be a doctor caring for mothers who are miscarrying a baby.

The very best OBGYN hands down in Pittsburgh. His staff are above and beyond any office I have been in across the midwest, southernmost, and furthermost west states in this Country. He is within the Best Hospital in Allegheny County, St. Clair Hospital. The One and Only Hospital in Allegheny County, that truly has the patient’s healthcare interest first. Dr Signorella has for years held his Hippocratic Oath as a licensed physician in the state of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Signorella has seen me through both a twin pregnancy and singleton pregnancy. He’s the best OB/GYN I’ve seen. He is very informative. His experience and knowledge of breech birth was crucial to me avoiding a c-section with the twin pregnancy. He has accommodating hours and a wonderful staff. I think his bedside manner is great, he is kind and honest.

through my pregnancy he was good up until I was ready to give birth. I went into the hospital at 1:30 and my water broke at 430. Around 9 am I was 5cm dilated when the nurse came in and said he had a surgery and they were going to turn my patossian down to slow my dialation. Hours went pst and 4 redoes of my epidermal he never once came up and they just said he would be there shortly. Finally at 630 they turned my patossian up and I had my son. It was an awful 9 hrs waiting and he never apologiz

He delivered my first baby safely and he is clearly experienced in all he practices. His office staff is phenomenal. His bedside manner is keeping me from returning for a second pregnancy. I never felt like he took my concerns or questions seriously, as I prefer more natural methods of treatment. He was never informative of each step of the pregnancy regarding vaccinations or blood tests, or other procedures. I often felt more like a test subject than a mother-to-be.

He's very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He's delivered 2 of my kids and will be delivering the next one. I trust him to do what is best for a healthy delivery. His nurses and staff are amazing.

A very good OB. He is professional and knows exactly what he is doing. He may not have the best bed side manner but I would much rather have a doctor who can take care of a situation quickly and correctly than a doctor who holds my hand. Definitely someone I trust down there.

He's nice enough but his bedside manner leaves much to be desired. I'm having trouble getting pregnant. He wrote me an Rx & said to call in 10 days to update him. I asked questions and his response was we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I'm concerned abt my issues, he was dismissive & not helpful. He said I'm likely in early menopause like it was no big deal and didn't answer any questions or show any concern. I didn't expect him to be a therapist but compassion would've been helpful.

I often felt like I wasn't being taken seriously and that my questions or worries were being swept under the rug. When I stated being uncomfortable about something, there was never much communication about it, and he would go about doing what HE wanted to do anyway, even if I showed concern. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, I really enjoyed that aspect of the office.
