Amazing Doctor
Dr. Snyder is extremely thorough, and listens closely. He does a full examination including bloodwork, X-rays & bone density exams. Dr. Snyder is warm & friendly as his entire staff. Dr. Snyder practiced in NYC for many years so he thinks in & out of the box. My overall experience has been extremely great & helpful.

Dr. Snyder is the best!
I've been seeing the doctor for almost 30 years and never had a problem with him. He is very thorough and a good listener. The office manager on the other hand is a big problem. She is rude and not helpful at all.

It takes awhile to see Dr Snyder, but he is very thorough in translating his diagnosis or treatment in layman's terms. He knows the woes of arthritis patients VERY well, and is an asset to his patients.

Dr Snyder is a great doctor , it's the billing department that is the problem , the woman is rude and has no compassion for the patient and will leave a patient without care to reprimand the office rule even if the doctor ask's otherwise I feel this behavior puts the other staff and the doctor in a posistion that affects the office overall negatively there should be courtesy calls to patients because life is chaotic and there are 3 patients in my house and let me tell you the do not all receive those calls. That People is discrimatory of our care but they say it is up to us to be mindful of our own appointments as a fall back I feel that just saves their butt's.

I saw Dr. Snyder for a number of years before moving to Georgia four years ago. The rheumatologists I have found in the Atlanta area are disappointing when compared to Dr. Snyder. I thought Dr. Snyder was excellent, but I'm sorry to see from the reviews that he is still employing obnoxious, incompetent staff at the front desk.

Staff needs some work. They are inconsiderate and focused on collecting money. I believe they have forgotten they are working with people who are physically suffering and need some compassion. Of course, what ever they do when one addresses their behavior is to blame it on the doctor's policies. But this doctor should know how his staff is relating or failing to relate.

Dr. Snyder was handling my daughter's disease for a couple of years. After going to a pediatric rheumatologist at UNM, I found out that my daughter had been misdiagnosed with "juvenile arthritis" when what she actually has is "systemic sclerosis". As a result of the wrong diagnosis and treatment, she has suffered irreversible damage in her lungs and hands. If you are parent of a child with rheumatologic disease STAY AWAY from Dr. Snyder. You have been WARNED!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars...

Outdated and dangerous especially when it comes to children. I had been taking my daughter to Dr. Snyder's office for years. I was told she was doing very well although I could not see true improvement so I looked for a 2nd opinion from a rheumatologist for kids. I found out that my daughter was not treated adequately and her disease had caused permanent damage to her joints. Stay AWAY especially if you have a child with rheumatologic disease.

I have been a patient of Dr. Snyder for about three years. He is thorough, competent and caring. Because he is a specialist, it may take awhile to get a new-patient appointment. I usually go in two to three times a year. Labs are drawn in the office, so you don't have to make an extra trip, and many of the results are ready by the time you sit down with Dr. Snyder. He has a relaxed manner and does not talk down to his patients. He makes you feel as if he and you are a team.

Rude office staff every time I have dealt with them. I changed insurance carriers. They refused to see me after being a patient for almost a year. Also refused to refill my prescriptions. I would not take my worst enemy there. They have no concern for patient welfare. Just the almighty dollar!

The first time I saw him, he told me, "I don't treat tests, I treat people." He told me he would figure it out, that there is always a reason for everything. For the first time in a long time I felt hopeful. I drove 2 hours for my 2nd appt. He came in, told me nothing was wrong with me. He answered a personal (not medical emergency) phone call in the middle of the appt. - while I was talking. When my husband tried to ask questions he got up and walked out. Appt. was 5-10 min. Left me in tears.

My mother made an appointment in March, and every day was a struggle, but she was always looking foreword to seeing such a greatly reviewed doctor. They waited until just a few days before her appointment in late August to ask her about her insurance when they have already had that information for months, and canceled it on the spot. The associate who made the phone call was incredibly rude and very thoughtless, and the whole experience was unprofessional and upsetting.

Your office staff is so rude and disorganized that I am going to another doctor! You are a great doctor but you really must do something about the interaction of your office staff with your patients. It's too bad there nothing lower than poor on the rating scale because TERRIBLE is all that can be said about them!

The dr. Himself is good. He's thorough, explains everytging with me, and when I had a hospital stay he went to see me and worked with other doctors I was seeing. However, it's his staff that I csnt stand. They're all very rude and talk to me like I don't know what I'm talking about. They messed up things with my insurence and kept sending me bills for appointments I never missed. Everytime I had an issue do for that I'm currently looking for a new doctor.

You may not always get an appointment within the next 3 months from your visit, but I don't mind because I know that when it is my appointment time he focuses on me and listens and explains diagnostic results and actually does a medical evaluation each time. A added plus is he performs labs and xrays right in the office.
