Dr. Traugott did not have as much knowledge to me
I felt as though Dr. Traugott didn’t have as much knowledge as other doctors in the area. This was disappointing because expertise is the key to solving my mental health concerns.

Dr. Traugott is old and uninformed. He seemed confused during my appointments. I had to explain various meds to him. He was fixated on upping my dosage for a medication that I was having a bad reaction to. When I explained I was having a bad reaction, he stopped and looked confused for a minute, shuffled through some papers, and then asked if I wanted to try increasing my dosage of the medication that was keeping me bedridden. The man needs to retire.

Misdiagnosed my mother, stubborn and unreceptive. Outdated in his medical knowledge and has allowed her condition to worsen due to wrong treatment. Shocking and disappointing. Considering filing a lawsuit based on the damage he has done to our family, through his misdiagnosis and neglect. Did not order any brain scans on a patient whom was expressing severe signs of dementia, her dementia has only gotten worse and worse, and Dr. Traugott has failed her treatment and our family. Apathetic Dr.

He misdiagnosed my mother-in-law and was completely unresponsive to any familial feedback. He singlehandedly was an accessory to the destruction of all of her familial relationships. He should be ashamed of himself and should be forced to retire - his ideas are as outdated as his medical license.

Not worth visiting. Reluctant to help. Should retire. Seems bored working as a Psychiatrist. Worth contacting the American Board of Psychiatry in Buffalo Grove, Illinois about his inability, and resistance to help. Worth contacting the Illinois state Board of Health. Absolutely a terrible Psychiatrist. WARNING: DO NOT SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS PSYCHIATRIST, AS YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANCE TO SWITCH ONCE ENROLLED IN CARLE PSYCHIATRY.
