I had a GREAT experience with Dr. Yushuva and his entire staff. I had surgery in November, and everything went well. I would highly recommend him. From his knowledge to his concern and patience with me it is all a 5 star experience.

Horrifying practice. Yushuva couldn't help me. I found another practice, AZ Digestive Health, that requires my records before they will even schedule me. They DO NOT request the records on their own. Their policy. I called Yushuva and was told that they WILL NOT send records unless the doctor requests it. So here I am, in great distress because my bowels don't work, and this office refuses to help me. My written request will not be respected. They only send it practice to practice. The reason I won't return to Yushuva is because he ordered a sitz test, the markers vanished and he said I was fine. THE FACT THAT I DIDN'T HAVE A BOWEL MOVEMENT MEANT NOTHING. These markers are still inside me, but lower than the abdominal x-ray was taken. My condition has worsened because I thought Yushuva knew what he was talking about and I went toother specialists for two years, for bladder, gynecology, and PT. When all was said and done, it's the bowels, he missed it. And they are failing to put my care above their policies.

I was lucky to have him as my surgeon. I went into ER and when I was admitted all the nurses told how lucky I was to have him on my case. They were so right. Best bedside manner. Told me my situation so I can understand it. All my office visits have been great! Excellent dr and staff

Did a great job with my anastomosis surgery. He's very meticulous in suturing incisions back. The only thing I would have to criticize about him would be is that he didn't explain much of what was going to be going on after my surgery. He did not ask if I had any questions after my visit with him. All in all, Dr. Yushuva is nice and polite.

The doctor has a very warm and understanding bedside manner. He always made me feel as if I was the only patient he had. But the important thing is is that the surgery went off without a hitch and I recovered fully with no complications. I am so glad I chose him for my surgery.

I have visited Dr Yushuva twice so far. Each time I have been treated with utmost respect & courteously by all the staff. Dr Yushua went above the Call of Duty with his understanding skills due to a very bad experience I had with a previous doctor, in that same field; which unfortunately, had caused me extreem & unnecessary pain. I'm happy I found him.

Dr Yushuva, was amazing. Wasn't feeling good for the month of October went to family doctor and was given antibiotics, no help. Finally went to hospital and a CT was done in ER. Did my life come to a brick wall. Found thickening of my colon. Dr Yushava came and saw me on a Friday night and surgery at 7;30 the next morning, Dr Yushava, took time to explain to myself and my daughter via phone call. Told me what was going to take place and what he was going to do. His heartfelt compassion, his bedside matters where more the 100%. He came and checked on me after surgery and each day in hospital. I was referred to Dr Yushuva by a surgeon in the Prescott area. I was very sick and my GI Dr sent me to the ER after an MRI w contrast revealed a life threatening infection, perforations, abscess and cyst in the colon and abdominal area. I had a severe stricture in my colon. Dr Yushuva had me maximize my success by taking steps to move my bowels regularly for a few weeks to reduce the stretching above the stricture giving the best outcome. He was thorough in relaying the best and worst case scenarios, answered all our questions in terms we could easily understand. Dr Yushuva did a great job, minimizing the potential invasive nature of this very complicated case of mine and saved a good portion of my colon. I am in week 6 of 6-8 week recovery and my plumbing is working well and I am feeling stronger every day. I cannot thank him enough! I strongly recommend his surgical services. Dr. Yushuva was kind, patient and professional with my father's surgery experience.

Had a sigmoid resect for recurrent diverticulitis in October 2020 by Dr Yushuva, who showed excellent care and surgical skills. Team at Banner Hospital makes sure there are no complications or infections by following strict protocols. Anesthesiologist was excellent. Nursing staff was good, too.

Dr Yushuva is a fantastic, skilled and very empathetic surgeon. From my surgery for cancer to follow up visits, he always takes the time to explain, answers all my questions and is very understanding. I highly recommend him!

Recently had a reversal of a colonoscopy. It was done laparoscopically and Dr. Yashuva did the surgery. He initially provided how it would be done during my first visit and we then set the date. No surgery is simple or easy but on the morning of the surgery he made me feel very comfortable and i felt I was literally in good hands. Two hours later I was back to normal as best as could be with a short 3 day stay in the hospital. Dr. Yashuva was really great. Follow up exam in 2 weeks removed a drain and no post surgery problems at all. Will still take a while to recover but if I needed a doctor again for this type of surgery, I would definitely go to him. He is very down to earth unlike some surgeons. I would highly recommend him.

I had read that rectal prolapse was a painful surgery and seldom successful. So I let it go for years. Dr. Yushuva is a miracle worker. It was not painful, and now after months I have had no trouble and almost forgot I ever had the prolapse. He was kind and did an excellent work on me.

Dr Yushuva did surgery to resection my colon and remove massive infection. The surgery was done laparoscopic and other than soreness I had no pain. Amazed he did this surgery with no need for a colostomy bag.

Dr. Yushuva is amazing. From our first visit, loved his caring genuine helpfulness and great understandable explanations. He is fun and joyful and a pleasure to be with. The surgery was perfect, no pain! Fixing a prolapsed mucosa changed my entire body immediately. Inflammation gone and other aches and pains have also decreased by 3/4ths because of this easy fix-up. If you are even thinking about what Dr. to see - Dr. Y is for you! You'll feel great and wish you'd done it sooner!!
