You can't make this stuff up!
I had been seen by Dr Goyal, a surgeon at the Heart and Vascular Center at the Mt Kisco location. He had ordered an ultrasound of both my lower legs because of the swelling. He told me that I had Varicose veins and that a simple procedure would take the swelling away and I wouldn't have the need to wear compression stockings if I had the surgery. I had the right leg done first by Dr Goyal because the swelling was bad at 100 Woods Rd in Valhalla. Despite following his post - op instructions to the letter, I developed an infection that my primary care doctor had to prescribe antibiotics after sending her pictures of my legs days after 'simple procedure' because Dr Goyal didn't respond to my emails or phone messages that I left with his office staff. Also, a large amount of blood had pooled in my leg where he had performed the surgery and he later stuck me about 30 times and removed five vial of pooled blood. Dr Goyal never called to apologize.

He is a very nice doctor with a good bedside manner but one leg, one-hour procedure with a laser and two sonograms 17,000 dollars. The copay is $2500,so , No I cannot in good conscience recommend based on this price. There is an amazing vascular doctor in Rye who charges $7000 for both legs including cosmetics and results are incredible. He does not take insurance but with copays of 5000, he is worth seeing. I am dumbfounded by the $17000 and the veins sprouting from other locations. Not happy
