Dr Soni is not only well-seasoned in the oncology field but a specialist in prostate cancer. I recently had a brachytherapy treatment done by Dr Soni and his team. It was a good experience all around from the consultations to the follow-up. He addressed all my concerns as I am over sensitive to drugs, especially to anesthesia, so he worked with the anesthesiologists team to get me the best care. He also showed care, concern , and attentiveness in his follow up interview with me after the procedure. I had done much research before travelling to have my cancer treated 1300 miles away from my home but I am glad I did. I highly recommend Dr. Soni as a prostate cancer specialist.

The prospect of Cancer is always difficult. Our first conversation with Dr. Soni gave my wife and I a strong glimmer of hope. During this first conversation, Dr. Soni gave us the feeling that he had all the time in the world to explain the nature of the cancer and the clinical process that would be involved in the treatment. He was very sincere and very concerned about what we thought. He made us feel like we were his only patient and his gentle confidence was reassuring and left us feeling hopeful. After that conversation we made our plans to travel and begin the out of State treatment. The treatment was just as we were told and it all went very smoothly. Dr. Soni and the staff were always available and always happy to fulfill whatever need, or just chat about any thoughts or concerns we may have had. Dr. Soni's personalized medical judgement and skills were apparent when he made an adjustment to the standard schedule that would provide me the most desirable outcome.

I first spoke with Dr. Soni in April 2024, followed by numerous in-person visits with him and Michael Dattoli MD, Founder.Dr. Soni guided me through the journey of prostate cancer evaluation and procedures with compassion and expert management. He is generous with his time, answers questions, and invites feedback. I had imaging, biopsy, radiation, and brachytherapy. My initial high PSA is now a very low normal. Dattoli Cancer Center staff are courteous, professional, and experienced. The facility is clean and spacious. The diagnostic and treatment equipment is state-of-the-art. Care is 100% individualized. I am a senior and have never had better physicians or staff. I believe the Dattoli Cancer Center provides the best prostate cancer care anywhere.

In an era of conglomerate medical centers who only refer patients within their own tightly-managed networks, this center is different. Dr. Soni explained to me that his treatment philosophy is not "one and done and out the door you go." Dr. Soni follows up with you for years. When the numbers show that you have won your battle with cancer you sign your name on the wall in the seminar room. This is where new patients come to learn more about their cancer. It's inspiring as a newbie to see the signatures and dates of so many men who have been cared for by Dr. Dattoli and Dr. Soni. It gives me a surge of power to realize these men have been cured. It's also a reminder that these good outcomes are a result of medicine informed by independent thought, skillful practice, and the patience to go the distance.

Dr. Soni is well versed in his field, he is unlike other Oncologist in large institutional practices. Dr. Soni spends the time to ensure the patient is fully informed. He only prescribes treatments and medication that are proven to effectively treat the condition. Dr. Soni was my doctor for my recent brachytherapy operation. This was a complex procedure in which 71 radioactive seeds were implanted in my prostate. The operation went off without a hitch. I stayed overnight at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and now I'm back on my feet. Everything was explained to me clearly in advance and all my questions were answered. In addition to his medical expertise, let me add that his bedside manner is calm and reassuring, exactly what I needed, being as I was just recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. Great doctor, satisfied patient.

I have twice seen Dr Soni for prostate cancer radiation follow up testing at the Dattoli Cancer center in Sarasota and will see him again December 2023. He is experienced and knowledgeable and also very calm, kind, and compassionate. He's very patient and thorough when answering questions such as why certain medications are important and should be continued at least two years even though tests results show no cancer at this time. Dr Soni has been examining me for the last few years for my prostate cancer radiation follow-up. My treatment was completely successful a few years ago, and I drive from Pennsylvania to Florida to see him annually. My exams includes several helical CT screenings of my body for any signs of cancer. Dr Soni also uses color-flow doppler ultrasound to diagnose, measure, and analyze my blood flow in the prostate area to assure all is normal. He takes his time, answers questions, and explains things thoroughly to me. He is dedicated to completely curing patients of prostate cancer through a proven radiation protocol without having to refer them to other treatments. I greatly appreciate and trust his follow-up treatment protocol as I am 75 years young and want to stay healthy for the rest of my life.

Dr. Soni and Nurse Jeaneen and the whole Dattoli team are awesome. When an MRI showed that my husband most likely had prostate cancer, they started a chart for him. When the biopsy came in Dr. Soni reviewed and promptly consulted with us. The team got my husband in for treatment immediately. The atmosphere of the clinic is calm and soothing. As Dr. Soni said from the outset: Cancer is not an emergency (which is what Mario's diagnosis appeared to be), but an urgency. Everyone at Dattoli has been knowledgeable, kind and considerate of our time. They educated us every step of the way. They were extremely organized. Dr. Soni is highly accomplished, modest and generous. These people turned what Mario's urologist characterized as dire, into a hopeful situation. I have every confidence in Dr. Soni. When looking for a radiologist following the cancer operation on my left breast, I consider myself lucky having found Dr. Soni, who had then just joined the Dattoli Cancer Center, where my husband had been successfully treated for prostate cancer. Dr. Soni brought his breast cancer expertise to the Dattoli Team and prepared a treatment plan for me which he explained in great detail.
