Dr. Daisy goes above and beyond for her patients. She provides superb care and promptly assisted with the diagnosis of my son’s illness. Appointments are convenient and the staff is amazing! She communicates with doctors so quickly and she cares about every patient.

The only radiologist that my family and I trust! My mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer and Dr. Uppal herself recommended surgeons and helped us during the difficult journey. Her results are done extremely prompt and sent out to the physicians accordingly. I myself have been getting my breast scans at Charter since I was 20 years old and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. After discovering a lump in my breast, I turned to Charter Radiology, where Dr. Daisy Uppal identified my cancer. She provided compassionate care, treating me like family. Immediately following my ultrasound, she performed a biopsy and ordered a breast MRI for further evaluation. Once my diagnosis was confirmed, she promptly arranged an appointment with a breast surgeon. The MRI technologist, Nasir, and the ultrasound technologist, Yola were exceptionally kind and professional. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Uppal and the entire team at Charter Radiology for their expertise and dedication—they truly saved my life.

My nerves were sky high about getting my MRI. See, I am not a small person. I worried about feeling trapped and unable to move. Normally, I require medication to keep me calm but I didn't have it this time. My tech, Tammy, made everything so smooth. She made sure I was comfortable and kept me up to date on how much longer each portion of the MRI was going to take. Her relaxed personality and friendly interactions were key to me being able to get through my scan. I would recommend Charter Radiology to anyone!

I needed a Brain MRI. My wife and I were very concerned about the potential outcome. We have young children so our anxieties were high. I reached out to Charter, (who has the most advanced MRI on the planet) to see if they could get me scheduled quickly. Dr. Uppal and her team gladly added me on to the end of their already long day and I was able to get my scan the same day of my request. Dr. Uppal stayed until the scan was finished, read my study, and by the grace of God, gave me good news. I have been to other imaging centers and I have to say that this one stands head and shoulders above the rest in every detail. They make major investments in the best technologies all for the benefit of their patients. The staff are infectiously kind and professional. I cannot say enough good things about Charter. This is my second patient experience at Charter. My first experience was much the same as my second so they are very consistent in excellence.

I was recently a patient at their Clarksville Location in Columbia, MD. Check in process was seamless. Waiting room and exam rooms were clean, modern, looked and felt great. The staff was professional and very helpful. Even the Drs onsite that day said hello, checked in on my process and overall well being. I was also able to access my records very easily same day as my testing. I highly recommend!

I have the utmost respect for dr Uppal and everyone at Charter Radiology. They took me in last minute, for a CT scan to confirm acute appendicitis, and then called the ER to let them know I was on the way. I think that really helped having the surgery done in the following 3 hours. Thank you so much for everything!

I am claustrophobic and was looking for the most modern and wide MRI I could find. I found Charter Radiology in my search and have had 3 MRIs there. The staff is always so friendly, kind, and patient, the MRI tube is bright and wide, and the room is well lit and inviting. My MRI reports are always ready quickly. I recommend this place to all my family and friends and will always be a patient.

I've had scans at Charter Radiology, and have been treated with the utmost care and professionalism each time by Dr. Uppal and her staff. The most recent MRI was of a tumor found during a colonoscopy. Since I had already done the bowel prep, my doctor told me to go right to Charter Radiology, and they would fit me in right away, which they did. During a previous scan (brain), I was concerned about the toxicity of the gadolinium contrast dye, and she explained how she purchases a safer (but more expensive) gadolinium with larger molecule than many clinics purchase, and she gave me the manufacturer's information to take home. She's also kind of a geek for the latest and greatest state-of-the-art scanning equipment, and her patients benefit. Also, I know that prior to starting Charter, doctors from all over the country sent her scans to read. I cannot recommend Dr. Uppal and Charter Radiology highly enough!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Friendly staff , polite and thoughtful. Dr Uppal was able to give me feedback about my tests . Fact that the MRI is open, and comfortable I did not feel claustrophobic. Best part was I had gentle air blowing on my face whole time which was soothing. Added bonus one can request their choice of music to make it go faster

The staff at Charter Radiology is a one of a kind group in the health care platform. The professionals at Charter are the most compassionate, caring and respectful of each and every patient that walks through the doors and/or call on the phone. They have a genuine grasp of what it means to care about their patients. They understand that their customers are in pain and uncomfortable. I’ve been a patient for about five years. I’ve been treated at both locations and the staff is equally amazing at both locations. They give their customers 150% and they have a way of making each person feel like they are the most important person who walked through the door. They are well mannered and very well versed. They are excellent at explaining new patient paperwork and make sure to let you know not to hesitate to ask questions if unsure. The facilities are impeccably white glove clean and stocked with paper towels and toilet paper. I continue to praise their strategic scheduling abilities.
