Did not feel that the needs I had were fully considered as I had issues healing from surgery that were unnecessary. surgery took longer than it should have and there was added stress to my body due to this.

I had surgery to have a cyst removed again. Surgery was fine but afterward I was in some bad pain. I called and was advised nothing could be done the dr was on vacation and the doctor told PA that she ordered pain meds. I even had the surgery nurse call the dr office to tell her no prescription was written. At first I felt like Dr. Russell was great then I felt like she wasn't listening to my issues. Dr. Russell said I was still having pain because my bile was impacted. I went and seen my stomach dr who sent me to pelvic pain specialist who advised me it was not in my head I actual have chronic pelvic pain syndrome. Thanks for making me feel like stupid Dr. Russell like maybe I am just imagining my pain. Where is the doctors that care and its not just about a pay check?

I have been going to Dr. Russell for over 5 years. I had no problem until last year. Their record keeping is terrible. She consistently told me she would order one prescription and then turned around and changed the dosages without consulting me. When I needed a thyroid refill she insisted my dosage was 32.5 mg and refused to order the correct dosage of 97.5mg. I called 5 times to straighten out her records. I had to get the prescription from my primary care doctor. I would never recommend this doctor. She believes that bioidentical progesterone causes breast cancer and cites the nurses study. The nurses study did not use any bioidentical hormones. Use her at your own risk.

Dr. Russell has been my favorite ob/gyn doctor! She is very personable, is an excellent doctor and goes above and beyond routine care. Her office provides bio-identical therapy which has been so helpful for balancing my hormones and reducing negative symptoms. With sleep problems, she took the time to provide information, hormone testing and treatment to find lasting solutions. She always has time for questions. Likewise, her office and other medical staff are great.

I've been seeing Dr. Russell for years and I could not have a better OB/GYN. She was able to help me when three other doctors could not. She's intelligent, thorough, easy to talk to and very patient.

Dr. Russell got me through a high risk pregnancy in 2005. I had just moved to Colorado a year earlier and decided to move back to Chicago immediately after giving birth. I was on bed rest the entire pregnancy and hospitalized for almost a month. Dr. Russell was extremely patient with me and provided great care.

I absolutely adore Dr. Russell. She is competent and personable. She is able to put patients at ease easily and draws from vast experience and knowledge.
