Had my annual blood tests done. My calcium and potassium were slightly elevated. After repeating the tests, they were slightly better. I asked why the 1st tests were slightly elevated, Dr. Asha answered I should try to avoid taking food with calcium or potassium. That just didn't seem right. Got a second opinion and the doc discovered tumors on my thyroid. she was more concerned about making a quick buck than being a good health provider.

It is obviously Dr. Shah does not listen or care about her patients. She rushes appointments and speaks to her patients in a condescending tone. Avoid at all costs.

She prescribed a cholesterol lowering drug without consulting lab results with me first. The indication was a 5% risk reduction. I told her I had no interest in the side effects for a minimal reduction in risk. later I received a letter from her lambasting me for my personal decision and notifying that I will need to place myself under the care of a physician that agrees with my position on the matter. I think she is a drug pusher.

A very bad experience. Went to see her for hives that have lasted over 2 weeks. She would not listen to me. Said she wanted to treat as an allergy. Tried to tell her I have already been treated for an allergy and it's not working but she kept speaking over me and not listening. Had another issue I wanted to bring up and she said I would have to make a different appointment for check it out. Worse doctor I've ever been to.

went for a cramp in my neck and entire head region, this after having headaches for couple of days.. It seemed like something any MD would be able to diagnose. She didn't listen, didn't have my file for review. she was texting with a smile while I was explaining my issue. she seemed more focused on her personal whatever than my medical issue.

I do not have high blood pressure. during the initial check it showed elevated blood pressure. she asked I schedule another appointment in couple weeks just for a blood pressure. I said I can do that at walmart or anohter venue like a pressure monitor. she said i cannot trust those other testers and its best if i schedule another visit with her.

I am patient with Dr. Asha Shah for a year. I went for annual physical of 4/22/2020. After physical, I requested maintenance medication for blood pressure that she prescribed before. I was told I have to schedule another appointment for prescription refill. Dr. put her financial interest ahead of patient care. Current situation warrant humanity, sympathy and understanding that Dr. Asha lack. Beware!

I wonder how she has got her credentials from those universities! She even cannot know if your EKG is normal or not. She just read the computer message on the top of the EKG (what i can do, too)and told me to go and see a cardiologist. I spent more than 200 dollars to know that my heart is healthy! (After a few weeks of waiting in worry for my appointment)My cardiologist felt very sorry for me... Just because your mother and father are doctor, it does not mean that you should go for it... She was holding the light into your nose and was looking inside your ears at that time that she should have looked inside your nose! I could not believe what i was seeing.

Dr Shah refused to fill maintenance medicine that was prescribed by a cardiologist until I came to see her after I had just had a "physical" with her less than 60 days prior, which was nothing more than blood work. I had just met with Duluth Clinic's own cardiologist Dr Pothoulakis and he was very happy with my dosages of medicine. This is my HEART MEDICINE she is refusing !!! I will never see this doctor again.

Lousy doctor. I took my grandma to see her. Dr. Shah's personality/demeanor was scattered and it was clear that she had no idea what she was talking about. She asked ME a medical question that she should have been able to answer as a doctor. She said she would observe my grandma's walking while leaving the clinic, but instead Dr. Shah was busy staring at her clipboard and talking to me. She's a nice person, but absolutely not impressed with her. Even 3-4 weeks later, I am still extremely unhappy

I had a very good experience with Dr. Shah. She saw me as a new patient and walk-in for a cold/bronchitis that went on for 3 months. She caught my mention of getting bronchitis every year that would last for months, and asked if I had been diagnosed with asthma. She is the first physician who referred me to a pulmonologist, who confirmed the diagnosis. I’m thankful that I finally know why this happens and now am able to take steps to prevent my asthma exacerbations.
