I have great shoulders and total mobility.
After years of injections for pain then giving up the parts of my life I loved Dr. Bedi preformed Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement on both right & left shoulders in the last 2.5 years. It was one of the easiest medical procedures I have experienced, I now have total mobility and its pain free, who would believe that even in your 60's you can still have two completely successful joint replacements & enjoy the things you love again. Dr Bedi is a great surgeon that stays aware through all his research and has old fashion values about taking care of his patients. If I only had one word to describe Dr Bedi it would be 'Brilliant'.Thank you Dr. Bedi for being the Doctor & Surgeon you are!

Referred by another Ortho. His office aware I had 2 previous hip scopes for FAI. First OS failed to fix pincer impingement, only repaired cam & torn labrum. Sent to Dr. Bedi d/t deep hip sockets. Told he was 1 of only 2 surgeons in MI w skills to help me. Arrived to my appt after 6 wk wait (I was in A LOT of pain) I was not seen by Dr. Bedi, but by NP instead. After brief exam she dx CRPS. (Chronic Regional Pain Complex) and Rx PT. Head of Pain Clinic confirmed I did not have CRPS. I have a friend who was also sent to Dr. Bedi. She was also seen by a NP and given the diagnosis of CRPS. Also wrong. We both elected to have hip replacements instead of continuing with UofM.

Dr. Bedi refuses to see me. I was referred to him by my orthopedist for double hip surgery as I've been in chronic pain for 2 yrs & surgery is my only option. After I called & told the secretary I was referred to him, provided my orthopedist's name & why I was referred, I got a call back a week later & was told he wouldn't see me with no explanation. I again insisted & said I was told I needed to see him, the next day the secretary again called & said he refuses to see me with no explanation.

The staff hold Dr. Bedi on a very undeserved pedestal. He made my condition exponentially worse than when I came to him. He is the epitome of the negative stereotype many people have about surgeons having a God complex.

My son had a few questions before going under for ACL repair. Staff were reluctant to approach Bedi but did. We waited for him he didn't come. I saw him in hallway and asked if he could answer a question for my son before surgery. He was not happy but at least answered my sons question. He also repaired my ACL but MRI showed the repair didn't work. No ACL and now too much damage to repair again. Only see his PA's. No contact from him about botched job.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Bedi at the time I needed his skills the most. I tore my hip labrum playing hockey and was in pretty rough shape for a while. Dr. Bedi and his team were extremely efficient as well as the staff who conducted the physical therapy process. Everyone was well educated and very nice also. I'm currently inching closer back to a 100% recovery and I couldn't have done it without Dr. Bedi and his team. Just wanted to say thanks!

Extreme difficulty w off communication. He always has patients triaged by a subordinate despite a specific request for his expert eval by highly experienced ortho surgeon. Believe I was intentionally misdiagnosed because Dr. Bedi didn't actually have time, and was putting me off until he could. Meanwhile I was suffering in pain. Had I known he was too busy to see me I would have gone elsewhere. When his staff made a grave error he lied about me to cover his own behind.

Dr. Bedi is very good. He took his time to evaluate my knee and answer my questions. His support staff from the Physician's assistant to the physical therapy staff were all excellent. Surgery went well and within 3 months I was rehabbed and walking perfectly. I recommended him to a family member who's rare athletic injury was quickly diagnosed and treated. Also with excellent results.
