Dr. Chandwani was the infectious doctor in the hospital when I went in for a debriedment surgery on my left knee. I left the hospital on a Friday and his staff was supposed to follow up on the pathology report of the culture taken during surgery. Nada. Zilch. No follow up. When I went to my orthopedic surgeon 13 days after surgery the ortho called the hospital to fax over a copy of the result of the culture. I found out it is Candida infection which is very rare and i was not on the proper treatment. I saw a new infectious doctor on the 13th day after surgery who got me started on an antifungal the next day. I am very disappointed in Dr Chandwani and his staff for not doing their job and letting me go an additional 10 days on the wrong course of treatment. Cannot give zero stars or I would. Dave D

Fabulous doctor! Just took my mom to him for endocarditis! He was excellent in explaining all the blood work results and our course of action. I wouldn’t think twice if I need an infectious disease doctor!!

Dr. Chandwani took his time to educate us about the medical problem we were seeing him for. He was thorough and helpful. However his office staff seemed miserable. A responsibility of the supporting staff is to make the office experience pleasant. If one is miserable, you should not display it to the patients.
