Dr. Ashkan Naraghi, MD

Wonderful doctor and staff. I have been dealing with asthma for several years and I have finally found a pulmonologist that really cares and listens. I’m confident in his advice and expertise.

I feel there is an explanation for the negative comments. I have had several problems like the people who posted the negative comments. I feel that the current problems with the office staff have a lot to do with Covid and the fact that Dr. Naraghi took over the practice at a very challenging time. He took over this office in January 2020. My doctor retired and the transition did not go well because of the Covid lockdown. A New doctor and almost all new staff created an impossible situation on top of the lockdowns. Dr. Naraghi seems to be very knowledgeable and caring. Yes the staff seems overwhelmed this year. Hopefully time will settle everything down. Under the circumstances we are facing I will be patient.

This is a terrible office with an awful incompetent staff. The worst is Marina the idiot receptionist. The nurses and doctor are almost as dumb and do not have a clue about what’s going on. Very poor administrative component that really needs a lot of work to improve. Run for your life the other way if you encounter this doctor. Save yourself the stress and trouble of dealing with people that represent the worst of the medical and administrative professions.

Really kind, smart and thorough. I was referred to Dr Naraghi by my internist and I couldn’t be happier. Really helped and guided me through my options and put me at ease. Highly recommend Dr Naraghi.

I visited Dr. Naraghi and he suggested I do a sleep test to determine if i have sleep apnea. I took the device home, did the test, and returned the device back to the office the next day. I was told I would have results within 3 days. After a week, I never heard back so I called the office. I was told the machine malfunctioned. (I would have hoped they were proactive to let me know instead of me waiting around for 7 days). I asked when I can come back and pick up a new device and do the test again. They told me to call back and ask for Maryann. I called back the next day and left a message. I didn't get a call back. In the meantime, I emailed Dr. Naraghi with a question about my sleeping conditions. He never wrote me back. I called the office again a week later, left a message. I never heard back. A month later, I get a bill. It's frustrating that we pay a lot of money for visits and tests, and they act like they didn't care about me or my condition.

I have been under Dr. Naraghi’s care for over three years. He is, by far, the most knowledgeable, attentive, and takes time to listen and answer questions. In the two times I had to go to the ER, he showed up to oversee care within a very short time.

Arrogant

For 2.5yrs, I suddenly developed a chronic coughs that no other specialists were able to properly diagnose and stop, despite numerous CT scans/x-rays of my nose/throat/chest with endless series of prescriptions, etc/etc. In going to Dr Naraghi, recommended by my family physician, Dr Wendy Chen, my coughs stopped. He explains/answers everything/anything and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Finally. A doctor that really cares about his patients. Spends time, is super thorough and kind.
