Doctor Nagella has been amazing. He's most probably saved my life.

I am surprised by the person who gave the negative review. My experience with Dr Nagella was The opposite. It was life changing. The standard American diet really made me quite fatigued, lethargic and depressed. It didnt stop there, my GI doc said if i continued eating like that i would have part of my colon removed due to diverticulitis (which i regret happened several years ago.) After I met Dr N, I changed my diet completely. The information about eating healthy and the effects on mental health are well documented. I began eating healthier: nuts legumes, leafy veggies, all plant based with occassional fish. My digestion and overall body improved immediately. My GI doc last week said there was no diverticulitis everything looked great. Thats not all, my brain function improved (the fog and fatigue went away) and I found that my mood improved as well. Dr Nagella never coerced me or pressured me. He actually instilled hope. I am now exercising and this increased my mood too.

Not HAES or ED friendly. Would not recommend to those recovering from an eating disorder. Has an agenda and will recommend going as plant based as possible even if you shared with them repeatedly this triggers your ED and makes you restrict and was the catalyst for your ED in the past.
