Less than beneficial. I have been to several psychiatrists across Louisiana and he is by far the worst one I’ve ever been too. Truly a disgrace to the psychiatric field, he only cares about $$$

Any doctor who makes you wait 3-4 hours past your appointment time is a self-centered a**hole. Period.

No one here is exaggerating about his wait times. It’s simply uncalled for. Also, yes, he will take away or change a med without warning and will say “if it doesn’t work for you just tellme and I’ll switch you back” DONT FALL FOR THAT!! Because he won’t switch it back! He will hold you hostage in his office to tell you all about his issues or problems or family and actually doesn’t care if you care because either way you’re going to hear is story. I’m just to lazy to find another doc. Ugh!!!.

I have been seeing Dr Sura for 27 yrs. At 23, I struggled with being extremely nervous while at work. He understood the issue & was quickly resolved. Since then, he has helped me with depression, anxiety &marriage counseling. Yes, no matter what, you will have to wait 2 hrs.He comes in around 10, even though you were there at 9.He is that good.He's very laid back& easy to talk to. He does talk about his family, but trust me, by this time,he already has you figured out and knows what you need.

Use to be an excellent doctor. Wait time can be 2 to 3 hours if not more. Within the last year has had a God complex. Takes meds away you have been on for 20 plus years with no explanation & says good luck finding another doctor to write you those. I quit seeing him. He's mean & degrading.

Only 3 stars because he got my depression meds right after going to many doctors and never finding relief. The wait is out of control- over 3 hours. You literally have to take the day off of work to have a visit.

Use to be an amazing doctor. Caring, concerned. Now first the wait is 2-3 hours past your appointment time. Then he doesn't want to discuss your issues he wants to talk about himself, his children. Has a God complex & threatens patients good luck finding another doctor. I was diagnosed in 1990 with severe panic & anxiety attacks I have been on 1mg xanax 3 times a day for 26 years. Last appointment for no reason he says he's taking me off of them even though I did nothing wrong.

Poor service. 45+ min wait times consistently. Can never get them to fax over information to pharmacies or other clinics when needed.

Always overbooked! Always takes all day!

Stole money from me. Forgets what I take, forgets to write all scripts and does not sign them.

He is a very nice doctor, but the wait is literally 3 to 4 hours past your appt time. Afraid I'm going to have to switch docs. I can't take this much time off work.
