Condescending, rude, and inconsiderate
After getting a referral, waiting 3 months, i waited for over an hour for a '15 minute' consultation. My chart was not read. I was recorded without my consent. She wouldn't listen to me when I told her my concerns about the abnormalities in my blood work and period. Kept trying to convince me there were no other tests I could do to find out why my labs and periods were abnormal. Pulled the 'im the doctor and I know better than you and anyone you've spoken too' card and her only advice was to lose weight and go back on birth control. 2 things that are extremely hard with hormonal difficulties. In some areas i was just blatantly lied too about hormones. I hope she reads up on the latest peer reviewed studies surrounding hormonal irregularities to better help her patients.

Very rude office receptionist!
Had an appointment on January of this of 2023, with nurse practitioner Misty Gilliland! I had called the office and the receptionist named Pam answered the phone and I asked her to get directions to the new office, she wasn’t pleasant to me at all and slammed the phone down. The only way go to the new office is because of nurse practitioner Misty Gilliland ! Mitsty is very pleasant, and has her best interest at heart towards her patients too. If it wasn’t for seeing Misty at the new office! I would go somewhere else!

I would not recommend her at all!
Ofc. Staff, kind & helpful. But Waited over 1hr to be seen. This is the Most disappointing Dr visit I’ve ever had. She is calm & tried to speak to some of my concerns, but didn’t seem really interested to help me She’d skip over some things I wanted help with or had no real answers as she was more concerned with repeatedly saying huge amounts of science research say this so amen. There was no delving into what my body might be doing or need. She asked no questions to figure things out. No interest given, like she was ready to be done and bored. I had tried over 6 weeks to see someone and was glad to get in to someone, but I’ve read and know more from other Doctors books than she seemed to understand is out there. This was a very discouraging waste of time.

I am a new patient with Dr Khan. Presenting myself to a new doctor means telling your story to one more doctor. Yet I found her attentive, asking questions, invested in what I was saying. You can tell she wants you to have success in your treatment and she expects you to be as invested in your health as she is. My last appointment was a telehealth meeting. It went great and I felt like I was in her office. She gave me the time I needed. I recommend Dr. Khan. I grateful I found her after my last doctor retired.

Dr Khan was very friendly & thorough. She took the time to read over my 8 pages of symptoms & answered all my questions. Unlike most doctors, she didn't get all caught up on my weight & saw me as an actual person. It was nice to be seen as an actual person instead of as just a number on a scale. I don't understand why she doesn't have better ratings. The office staff was friendly & the wait wasn't too terrible. Plus, I was able to get an appointment quickly. It only took about a week from when the referral was done until my scheduled appointment. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out was only 2 hours to the minute. I highly recommend ignoring this rating & taking a chance & giving this doctor a try.

Dr Khan has been my Endocrinologist since 2007 & she is amazing. She is the type of Dr that will actually listen to you & work closely with you to get the best results. I'm a 42 year diabetic & we have my A1C at a 6.7 which is rare but possible if you take good care of yourself. Like I said she is amazing & I wouldn't trade her for the world.

I had been Dr. Kahn's patient for 3 years and was facing a 2nd life-threatening thoracic surgery in one month. My tsh was 48, Dr. Kahn refused to consult with my team of doctors. I had no choice but to turn to another endocrinologist. Dr. Anna Cornea helped me.

She very intelligent and knowledgeable. We just love her for the care she gives my husband. So if your first meeting with her, don't give up. She is a very good dr,

As a new patient I was extremely impressed with Dr. Khan’s understanding of my condition and her explanation of it to me, her presentation of several treatment options, and her willingness to answer each of my questions to my satisfaction. She helped make what could have been a difficult appointment a time when my concerns and worries about my condition were actually lessened.

Dismissed my symptoms as nothing without every even asking me what they were! It sounds like exaggeration but it is unfortunately true...she never once asked me what symptoms I was suffering. I think she doesn't care because she just makes automatic decisions based on lab work. I'm pretty sure you could give a LPN an endocrinology flow chart to follow and you'd get the same care. Office staff and lab folks were nice though.

I went for a initial consultation. She is strict and will not look beyond what is already written in the medical book. She will not help and look for alternatives to help with my hashimotos. To help suppress it from actively attacking the thyroid. Much like celiacs there are triggers but she says there is nothing she can do. She said that I personally can look into it but she believes it is all foolish and pointless, because as she says there is no proof it works according to the FDA.
