Misdiagnosed Depression as Schizophrenia
1. Misdiagnosed me with schizophrenia even though I have no family history of schizophrenia and a strong family history of depression. 2. Put me on antipsychostics that made the depression worse. 3. Berated me for not trying hard enough to get better and didn't think that maybe her treatment was wrong. 4. Ignored my reports of insomnia--telling me I had misperceived it. 5. Instead of treating the insomnia she wanted to hospitalize me, thus depriving me of my freedom, so I would have to get up at the samme time every day---yes, regulating sleep schedule is a wonderful reason for depriving a human being of freedom.
