Dr. Aurabind Balagani, MD

I made an appt to see Dr. Balagani for an annual eye check & was also recently diagnosed w/ baby cataracts. The day before the appointment, Stacy calls me & starts talking about cataract surgery & copay for $100. This was so upsetting because I have not even seen this dr. This was my first appointment w/ him for an evaluation. Why would you start talking about cataract surgery when I have not even seen the dr. This was so unprofessional & improper for a clinic to do. Horrible way to welcome a patient. I asked to speak w/ a manager & was given Karen. I'm sure Stacy already told her what was going on because it took her a while before she started talking to me. All she can say is I'M SORRY. Cancelled the appt & would not recommend to anyone. Horrible first impression from Stacy. You never even apologized for what you did. By the way, I work for a hospital & what you did is so inappropriate.

I have been with Dr. Balagani for a number of years. He has taken good care of my eyes. He is caring and compassionate. I have now followed him to his new location. I love the new location. So spacious and easy to park and get into the office. Beautiful modern decor inside. Very calming and tranquil. State of the art equipment.

I have been under Dr. Balagani's care for years. He has addressed my eye pressure, floaters, vitreous separation and my eyes are healthy so far. I'm about to have cataract surgery with him. My friend with macular degeneration and a torn retina recommended him, as did my regular eye doctor. I'm so grateful to have him taking care of my eyes for me. Great bedside manner and friendly staff. The waitroom is clean, but cramped and the office is busy. Just be patient, and you will be glad you were.

Remarkable physician and human being. Feel so fortunate to be under his care.

Dr Balagani is very good about discussing your upcoming operation (cataracts); and reassuring about any concerns you may have (it IS the eyes!).

Dr. Balagini is excellent!! I would 110% recommend him. I have open angle glaucoma and he has been great. I have been seeing him several years.

Dr. Balagani was great. I had many questions about my eyes and he spent the time to answer them all fully. I sort of felt bad that i was taking up so much of his time, because his schedule was obviously busy, but he did not rush me in any way. I really appreciated that. He is very kind and knowledgeable. I'm glad his office is busy. It proves to me that others trust him, as I do. Great bedside manner. The staff was very good also. Thankyou all.

This operation is poor from top down. I had just a follow up and it took almost three hours. I have never had an appointment last more than an hour anywhere else. The office itself is cramped and substandard. When I complained about the wait I was chastised by the doctor. One of his assistants was rough and rude. I will never recommend or go back there for any reason.

My experience with Dr. Balagani was extremely positive. He took time to really explain my condition and the treatments. I have been to other doctors for the same reason, and he was the first one to ever actually go through all my questions and concerns. He has a great bedside manner and is so very caring. His staff were very good too. They took their time with me, and explained things along the way. The office is busy, but i never felt rushed. Thank you to you all.

Staff performing procedures ushered me through testing with no explanation. Made to feel like a "cattle call". I understand they perform the same tests day after day but it was all new for me.
