Excellent Ophthalmologist
Dr. Fox is a very friendly man. Very competent. Very knowledgeable. He explains all of his recommendations in a way that makes them easy to understand. He has performed two cataract surgeries on me, both wonderful. I highly recommend him.

I'm hesitant to call Dr. Fox a clown because I've firsthand how hardworking and competent clowns are in their line of duty. I waited 90 minutes to see this imbecile of a Dr. just to give me carelessly inaccurate information. When I pressed him on it, he haphazardly and shamelessly backpedaled. I would not trust this man with any aspect of my health; There's no two-ways about it: He's a detriment to the medical establishment.

I saw the eye doctor yesterday, Austin Fox, and he was very good. I'm very impressed. In fact, today I recommended someone else to go see him. So that's what I'll tell you. Thank you. Bye.

Dr. Fox and the ancillary medical staff worked very efficiently despite being backed up because of uncontrolled circumstances He spent the time with me that was needed in a clam, respectful and professional manner So fortunate UCI has a class staff. I feel comfortable and confident in their care

I was taken promptly and the nurse did the preliminaries. But it was almost two hours until the dr. saw me, and his visit with me was less than 15 minutes! I was not happy when I left . ,

Usually during the appointment the first person I see - the woman that took me into the exam room takes my glasses and checks them This was not done and I was disappointed I feel like my annual appointment wasn't complete

This is Jack's cousin typing what he is saying. "this appointment was just for pictures. But I want to say that I appreciate Dr. Fox (in previous appointments) actually EXAMINING me, taking the time to try to make sure I understood him. I am about 98% deaf. Since I am 98 years old, MANY health care people just give up on me. That is not right. ALso, I went to Terry eye clinic, supposed to be "the best". The guy there spent about TWO minutes with me and PUT IN WRITING that I was totally blind. Honestly! Then how am I reading my IPAD and the phone captions literally EVERY DAY. So thank Dr. Fox for me in case I forgot...I do forget stuff these days.

Dr. Fox provides excellent service with required testing to monitor my eye progress and explain what the testing reveals. Also, Dr. Fox always uses equipment to look into my eyes with detail and explain my current status and when the next appt. will be.
