He was not very friendly, and waited 2.5 hrs!
I felt like I was treated like cattle in a cattle barn. I’m pretty sure they overbooked. His assistant was nice, but didn’t communicate pertinent information that made all testing invalid after waiting over two hours! He saw me for about 90 seconds. He rushed in without much communication and rushed out. It didn’t look like he was too happy to be at work that day. I would definitely steer clear. There are other doctors who are a lot more friendly in this office. I’ll drive to Dallas to see a cornea specialist before going back to see Dr. Lash.

Dr Lash restored my mothers vision. She will not see any other eye doctor. Who knew that rheumatoid arthritis could make someone experience such dry eyes they could loose their vision! Dr Lash ordered different eyedrops at different times of the day and my Mother is able to see again and live a happy normal life at home! Thank you a million times over Dr Lash!!

I feel my time was completely wasted. Was diagnosed with a pterygium in both eyes, was told this growth had severly compromised my vision and was referred to Dr Austin Lash by my Optometrist. The conversation with Dr Lash was about me wanting contacts and I was informed surgery would not help for this reason. This Specialist clearly missed the point of the visit. Surgery was not explained, didn't advise if would improve sight. Was prescribed nothing and told to come back in a year?????

Dr. Lash: This is Henry Baer. I am somehow confused about what my eye surgery performed by you today accomplished. Would you please email me concerning this and the further measures to be accomplished and with whom? I would appreciate an email to henrybaer@prodigy.net at your earliest convenience. Perhaps I was affected by residual anesthesia. Sincerely yours,

Dr. Lash has performed a left and right cornea endothelial transplant. Transplant surgery successful without complications. I am very thankful he practices in East Texas to help others in this area to have clear vision.
