Excellent physician, one who actually listens to the patient. Before seeing Dr. Kurtz, I had a Kaiser neurologist who believed himself to be a "very knowledgeable physician." I was initially/incorrectly diagnosed with functional neurological disorder (condition was psychological} from this inept neurologist. Dr. Kurtz disagreed with that diagnosis, he believed the abnormal results from a nerve conduction test, he listened to me, believed me, and cared. Thanks to him, I eventually got diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. He is an amazing physician. I just wish he was not with Kaiser Insurance - he is way better!!

For thirteen years I have lived with the movement disorder Cervical Dystonia. Last March 2017 I attended a Dystonia Medical Research Foundation support meeting in Northglenn, Colorado. There several people with Dystonia recommended Dr. Kurt because he knows exactly where to give Botox shots on the neck to relieve the tremors. FINALLY... since my first visit in May 2017 my quality of life has improved 100%. My family and I are so grateful :)

Dr. Kurtz is a wonderful man. He's kind, caring and during the last 2 years has became a dear friend. I first met him prior to my DBS surgery. Dr. Kurtz calmed all my fears and held my hand during the 7 hr. procedure. Having Parkinson's is not easy but having a physician that cares means so much. I will always have nice things to say about him!
