Urology at it's best!
I have had many face to face appointments with Dr. Lwin and have found him to very personable and easily informative. He is straight-forward and has a great bedside manner. I enjoy going to see him for both regular appointments and as needed ones. I am a registered nurse and have worked in a few large medical centers and genuinely know what poor medical performance looks like. He's good and knowledgable.

How about responding to your PTs?
Once again, I am not getting confirmation that my messages to the doctor are getting to him. I have sent multiple messages asking a specific question and NO REPLY. I have called the office, and they said they have sent the message to the doctor. NO REPPLY.My suggestion is that unless your concerns are low priority, that you seek another medical establishment. GOOD LUCK.

A gift that keeps giving. NOT – Feb 11, 2025

Seemingly non-caring and rushed.
A disappointment. Rushed. Did not examine me at all and said off the bat that my non-standard BPH symptoms had no treatment other than the medications I was already taking and that I needed a Cystoscopy (bladder and urethra examination using an invasive tool ). No explanation on how that would help diagnose my problems.

Could've gone a lot better. I don't blame him for going by national standards, but going by only two tests a week apart instead of the totality of the condition irked me the wrong way. Nice enough guy, just seems like he doesn't care and was rushing (he was 50 minutes late for my appointment).

Great doctor, great guy
I've recently been through a prostate cancer diagnosis and was referred to the practice but my initial assignment to Dr. Lwin was as far as I know just based on his availability. Bot was I lucky. He was patient, took as much time as I needed, discussed every test and diagnosis along the way and at all times was very supportive of my doing what I was comfortable with. Along the way another issue popped up which required minor surgery to get a more complete understanding in which he was the surgeon. That was somewhat scary for me but he was supportive, it went well, and most important pretty much everything that happened I was aware of before hand and his council was 100% accurate. Most important to me, I had a choice between surgery and radiation, but even though he's a surgeon with a vested interest in doing procedures, even when I chose radiation he was completely supportive. At this point I count him as a doctor and a friend. I've developed great respect and highly recommend him

Wonderful Dr. I went in to see Dr Lwin after a trip to the emergency room unable to urinate. I had a catheter put in. I met with Dr Lwin to have my catheter removed and review a ct scan. He said he believed it was a large fibroid pressing on my bladder. Two days later I was in the emergency room again having a catheter put in. He called me personally and told me he also consulted his colleagues and they agreed it was the fibroid. To make a long story short I went to my gynecologist and shared Dr Lwins findings and had a hysterectomy and I am able to urinate again. It was a very difficult ordeal. Thank you Dr Lwin for you findings.
