Dr. Ayoub Ayoub, MD

I was very unimpressed by Dr. Mogassbi. From the beginning of our appointment, he seemed as though he wasn’t really listening, and was just ticking boxes. He began by reviewing my medications list, and told me that I shouldn’t, “be taking supplements if I don’t know what they are for,” and started reading my supplements and asking if I knew what they were for. I did, obviously. He then said I should talk to a pharmacist before taking supplements, and I told him that I had. I found this line of interrogation somewhat insulting, as he automatically assumed that I was just taking things without reason or without checking that they are safe first- and if he had just asked instead of assuming we wouldn’t have wasted half of my appointment time. He also failed to address all of my concerns. I came in with multiple issues that could fall under the umbrella of endocrinology. Despite repeatedly telling me that he had reviewed my chart, he didn’t ever mention by blood sugar issues, and completely ignored the other concerns I brought up. He sent me to have two thyroid tests done, exclusively, and when they came out ok- simply sent me a message stating that I didn’t need further treatment. I felt very disappointed by the quality of the visit. Overall, I felt that Dr. Mogassbi was dismissive, a bit condescending, and lacked a curiosity that is essential for doctors to be good diagnosticians. The only reason I give two instead of one stars is that I have been to worse, but overall I was still very disappointed and will not be back.

Very nice staff! He was in time and very knowledgeable and attentive.
