Dr. Azim Lalani, MD

I couldn't be more pleased with my visit to Dr. Azim Lalani and his PA. They are so thorough and thoughtful and compassionate. I am a winter resident so I appreciate having been able to establish care while in Florida.

He is quite thorough; he listens to what I have to say or ask. Never rushes. I would not have stayed with him or his practice for 15 years If not pleased with the care he has afforded me.

My 93 year father was a patient at Blake Hospital and treated by Dr. Lalani. I found Dr. Lalani to be dismissive and poor with communication to our family. He performed tests and then did not share results. We attempted to schedule meetings times, but could not get a commitment to meet. In the end my father died and we never received answers regarding his cause of death. We even questioned, if his body was shutting down due to age(understandable) but again no answers. I cannot recommend this doctor as I wouldn’t want someone to go through what my family did.

I have been with Dr, Lalani for many years, and I highly recommend him and his practice. He is attentive, listens very well, and is very effective in treating patients. He has a strong support staff. Dr. Lalani genuinely cares about his patients. He gave my late father-in-law excellent and compassionate care for many years.

Dr. Leylani is an excellent doctor! His PA is unprofessional, immature, manipulative, and holds grudges. Involves other staff members in her subterfuge. She should not remain as a permanent fixture there for each sheet of fuses. The good the practice is capable of. There are other breakdowns of communication. It’s a real chore to get what you need lots of people in authority that don’t have information and don’t even check your file. Lots of trainees continually Dr. Lonnie has helped me the rest of the organization has held me back. The PA has been a negative influence Medically and actually

Staff was patient, understanding our 1st visit. My husband just home gone 2 mths mmh & fvp rehab. His p.a. took time with us very pleasant, still need help with insurance questions new to medicare. Dr said he would give us a # to talk to for 2nd help. Thank you for understanding my husbands impatientce as he is in pain & dealing with a new dx. his wife was very understanding!

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Lalani since Dr. Holsworth retired. We are very happy with the medical care we receive.

Have been going to this practice for many years. Since Dr. Chapman, then when he passed Dr. Holsworth. When he passed we chose Dr. Lalani and are very satisfied with him. He is very easy to talk to and keeps abreast of necessary tests, shots, etc.

Very good doctor and friendly staff.

This doctor collects urine samples and sends them to non participating labs. The cost for a simple urine screen? over $4,000!! He is also incompetent and his staff have bad judgement... Office wait times are unreal.

Wonderful doctor that spends time with his patients to make sure he understands their health issues and goes through the necessary tests to get to the root of the medical issue. Easy to schedule appointments and very friendly staff. I appreciate the personalized attention which seems to be lacking in health care these days.

He takes the time and truly listens and asks questions to help find out what tests to order and what treatments are needed. He also takes the time to explain very clearly to help you understand everything. I just recommended him to a co-worker and will continue to recommend him to others who needs a good Doctor who truly cares about their patients.
