Dr. Azrael Paredes, MD

We discovered Dr. Paredes several years ago when my husband was in need of emergency care and we wanted to find a reliable doctor near our home. Dr. Paredes has been just that and more. He has been insightful and effective at identifying and successfully caring for health issues for several members of our family. He has advocated for us with the insurance provider when additional tests were needed for my husband. He is compassionate and caring during office visits and is a good listener. As a consequence he is able to effectively zero in on the problem at hand especially when a variety of symptoms are presenting themselves. We highly recommend Dr. Paredes to your family!

Needed a Physical Exam to renew a Life Insurance policy. Have been a patient for 10 years, yet had not been in for over 3 years. The scheduler refused to set up the appointment for the physical. She demanded that I would first come over for a New Patient visit, then go home. And schedule an appointment for a physical examination. Have been happy with Dr. Paredes' work until now, but this is either incompetence of the staff, bureaucracy, or the need for extra money. Whatever it is, unacceptable for me. I am too busy for this.

This review is not for the doctor, its for his support staff. Worst customer service and the nurse who gave me the flu shot literally messed up my arm. Its been 3 weeks pain on my arm is not going away!

Dr. Paredes has always been patient and friendly to me. However, there is always a bill waiting for me when I arrive. I understand insurance billing isn't always easy. Yet, scheduling the needed appointment than allowing the patient to pay on arrival prior to seeing the physician should be an accepted process. After all, what patient is going to take the time to show up for an appointment and not pay a previous bill in order to see the physician?

Dr. Parades misdiagnosed my broken leg, he said it was a sprain. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Paredes misdiagnosed me, with just a cough and it turns out I had pneumonia.

Dr Paredes has a very friendly manner about him. He thoroughly explains all aspects of the diagnosis & treatment clearly. I am really happy to have have found a family doctor with so much talent and such a great bedside manner.
