GIVEN 30 DAYS NO LIVE - NO SHOW TO MEETING
My mother was given 30 days to 3 months to live. She has breast cancer that has spread pretty much everywhere. It took several days for him to respond. I asked everyday for a call with no response. He was even outside her hospital door when family was present and didn't even come inside to see his patient and speak with us. When I finally get a call, he agrees to meet with family to explain life expectancy to patient, during a period when she is FINALLY lucid. HE IS A NO SHOW. We explain to my mother she is dying soon WITHOUT her physician there. Shamloo shows up over an hour late and denies to my face and hospital staff that he arranged this meeting me, her husband, family, palliative, etc. AS IF I AM LYING. Absolutely unforgivable. I will never forget his dismissal of my mother and our family in her final days.

RUN Don't walk
I was in the ER never saw nor talked to this dr yet he has added that I have secondary malignant neoplasm in an unspecified location. I've never had primary malignant tumor. This dr added unnecessary tests and labs which caused my stay to be 9 days in the hospital when it should have been just 4 if that. Honestly Henderson Hospital is an even bigger joke than this dr.

Robin
I was diagnosed with AML, a type of leukemia, and this doctor treated me. I live in NE Arizona and he accepted me at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. He, and the AOS (Adult Oncology Services) staff were very attentive and supportive. They put me at ease right away. Dr. Shamloo came up with the treatment plan and the AOS staff executed it flawlessly. My husband and I would like to thank them again for everything they’ve done and for giving us a chance for another 43 years! We recommend anyone who is suffering with AML, or any other type of cancer, to Dr. Shamloo and the AOS staff at Sunrise Hospital. If they don’t treat what you have, they will refer you to someone who does.

It won't let me give zero stars
If you care about your loved ones and you find out this is the Oncologist assigned to the case, don't think twice, pack your stuff and get as far away as you can. For 3 weeks this man did not answer his phone from anyone at hospital, three weeks!!! We have a borderline progressive cancer and this guys off the grid for 3 weeks and says nothing to anyone! And then when the A Hole decides to show up, he has the audacity to tell us that there is nothing he can do for him and that he needs to go somewhere else and that he will fall through the cracks where he was at. This man is getting reported to the medical board, he has no place being in the medical field.

Never
I was in the hospital and diagnosed with lymphoma throughout my body. Dr Shamloo came to visit briefly twice and told me he would send me to a special dr after I was released and wanted to get me into chemo asap after my biopsy came back. I had a very fast growing cancer, in his words. Once I was released I waited for my results. None ever came, no one contacted me at all. I tried to get ahold of Dr Shamloo through all my efforts of trying to contact him, talking to multiple people at the hospital, asking the nurses that took care of me, going physically to every address the hospital gave me for him. He was no where to be found. It took me over a month to get another oncologist to follow up where he dropped the ball. Turns out my tests also showed breast cancer on top of everything else that was never mentioned to me. I am disgusted that this doctor is able to care for patients and just disappear on them with no follow up. Shame on Henderson Hospital also for allowing this also.

I guess they did their best during a very bad time for the entire world. He did keep my relative alive and we eventually got them treated elsewhere.

My mother was brought into the ER for a stomach infection. The hospital kept her for a few days, the doctor was rarely in the room for her. Dr. Shamloo wrote her a prescription that couldn't be filled (he didn't even explain anything to her or give her the prescription himself). He was never available and my mother and I waited 7 hours for him to sign her discharge papers (he sent a nurse 7 hours prior to tell her she was being released). We had to get one of higher up doctors to find him.
