Dr. Bozorgnia did a watchman procedure on my mother in October of 2024. My mother has experienced ongoing hospitializations since this date. She suffered a pericardial injury, which is very uncommon for this procedure (1% of time based on user error) which lead to pericardial effusion, and ongoing bilateral pleural effusions, for which she has had to have treated multiple times. He never spoke to me after the procedure, nor did he explain how it went. Given how she is struggling post procedure (ongoing for 4 months) I would avoid this physician at all costs.
