An outstanding functional medicine doctor.
Telehealth
I can’t recommend Dr. Kanani enough. I’ve been to a few functional doctors but none fully acknowledge the need to address mold toxicity to heal Lyme. Nor will many Lyme literate doctors allow their patients to try using herbal medicine instead of antibiotics, if they wish. Equally important as his robust understanding of all the factors that contribute to complex chronic illness (such as EBV, vaccine injury, GI issues, MCAS, etc) is his demeanor. Dr. Kanani is calm and kind, and he listens deeply. Having been to several doctors, I can’t tell you how grateful I am to be under the care of a Lyme literate doctor who is sincere and competent. On top of feeling like I am in good hands, I am getting better. I have no doubt that I'll be restored to good health soon.

I believe Dr. Kanani saved my life.
After years of being told by my PC that my Standard Labs were normal, as well as a Hematologist who was proved wrong by a Bone Marrow Biopsy, yet my health continued to worsen, I discovered Dr. Kanani at the Sutter Institute for Health and Healing in Roseville, Ca. While I’m not 100% well, and work with other Doctors my health improved significantly due to his education and knowledge of “Functional Medicine and Optimal Lab Ranges.” He knows where to look and how to test! Taking into account a Genetic Variant I had already discovered partly causing complex overlapping illnesses, he had me take a Comprehensive Nutritional Panel, and another test for hidden Viruses as well, and based on the results, prescribed the necessary Diet and several truly effective Herbal Supplements to correct my personal Nutritional Deficiencies and strengthen my Immune System. I’m very grateful to him and our online visits.
