Always a pleasure to have an appointment with Dr. Makenna. An awesome cardiologist with a great patient rapport. A very good listener! The entire staff makes you feel like the most important patient there. Thank you, Dr. Makenna and staff!

After losing a previous highly respected cardiologist (deceased), I was pleased to become a new patient of his replacement (Dr. Makkena) who welcomed me with his sincere approach to caring about my health from this point forward.

My experience at Dr. Makkena's office was excellent in all respects. Dr. Makkena is personable, friendly, and thorough. His staff is commendable. Cinthia at check-in made the process simple and quick. Tiffany and Alicia are skilled, efficient and friendly and Monica at check out was kind and accommodating, making sure that my next appointment was on a date and time suitable to my schedule. This office runs like a well oiled machine, they are simply the best!

I would like to say that Every visit I have ever had with Dr. Makkena has been Awesome! I've been seeing him for 4 years now when I had my heart attack. He listens to every question even tho I might've already asked it and answers it. He will make sure he has answered everything before you leave and his nurse will make sure you don't have any questions either before you leave.. Then will add if you do to please call them and they will answer them (which yes I've done that before) and yes they return the call to answer you ???? They all really care about you and it shows at each appointment. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr.Makkena 100%... 2 stents and 4 years later and they treat me as great as they did the first time I went in! ??

Very pleasant & professional staff. Paperwork for a new patient was very lengthy. Perhaps you could mail to patients so they can complete @ home B 4 their appointment. Everything else was great!

Dr. Makkena visited my husband in the ICU January 25th upon my husband being admitted to the hospital arriving by ambulance. He explained what could have caused the heart attack and said further testing would be done to pinpoint the exact cause. He saw my husband several times during his stay. Dr. Makkena was always professional and clear in his explanations. I ask many questions and he was always patient with me explaining things very clearly. He has a wonderful caring attitude and we felt very confident in his ability to care for my husband. We thank him very much for his concern for and treatment administered to my husband.

I am looking forward to Dr. Makkena taking care of my concerns about my heart. I feel comfortable with him and have placed my trust in him.
