Never addressed the Chief Complaint
Easy to get an appointment - but a referral is required. Easy to schedule procedures. (Very procedure oriented with facility next door) Follow up after procedure is where all went wrong. Dr. said I should take Miralax every day. When I told him I would do things with prunes or natural methods, He stood up, turned to the door, said "Then stay away from Doctors" and walked out. NEVER addressed the issue that I was there for in the first place -still an issue, Now having to seek yet another referral through my PCP.

Do not go to this doctor!
He walked in the door yawning and said before I said anything “We need to schedule a colonoscopy.” I just had one the year before. Then got mad when I said No! Everything was clear and your partner said he would see me in 10 years. This doctor doesn’t care about you or your health. All he wants is money. Every patient before me was scheduled a colonoscopy before they walked out the door.

I visited for a very disturbing stomach issue I was having. He spoke to me for less than 2 minutes (I watched the clock) & did not ask what I was experiencing nor did he ask for any list of symptoms. He did his procedure, said he found nothing & conversation over. I am sure he is a good doctor, I can see his credentials, but how can he help me if he doesn't speak to me?

I was admitted to the hospital the day after Christmas 2018. Dr. Minhas was the Gastro on call, he admitted me over the phone. I did not expect to see him till the next day, but he came that evening to meet me and check on me. He explained why I needed a transfusion and what all of my blood levels that. Please avoid this doctor! Although he is very pleasant when you first meet him, he is not good at all with his follow up or his documentation of medical records after medical procedures. Because of him, I am having to have a second colonoscopy because he failed to follow correct protocol during the first one! He is also extremely expensive because he charges for both his medical services and for the facility where the endoscopies and colonoscopies are performed (which he owns).

My first experience was very welcoming! Office staff greets you with a smile and Dr. Minhas was very sympathetic about the problems going on. Very kind individual.

1st visit was okay. I felt like I had hope . Did what Dr prescribed . 2nd visit was awful. Dr Minhas was very uncaring and did not offer further testing as he said he would . Said I was non-compliant which is not true. I am a retired Nurse and have worked with many Doctors. He by far was the worst with bedside manners. Wants to see me in 3 months . No way, for what .? I would not subject anyone to that kind of experience . Surprised my husband kept his cool .
